As a Scotsman, it broke my heart when England beat Cameroon in 1990, ever since I have been a fan of and loved the Indomitable Lions, I love their attacking style, Roger Milla epitomised that footballing philosophy, legend, respect!

True! That was and still is because of the ceiling put by their European coaches who set their limits. The European coaches sabotaged their psychological preparedness when they reached the latter stages of the game. Had they been employing their own home grown coaches they would have probably won several world cups by now. No team in world cup history has ever won the world cup using a foreign coach! That is why in Russia 2018 I am going with Tunisia and Senegal for they have local home grown coaches this time.

Roger Milla est un incroyable joueur de foot, très adroit, il nous a bien fait vibrer en coupe du monde en marquant souvent, chapeau bas pour ce grand joueur.

I met a guy in Washington DC who told me that he was part of the Tanzanian team in the 1980s. He exchanged his Jersey with Milla and and he still has that milla's Jersey to this day. I was surprised.

I remember the first match of 1990 World Cup. I was just 13 and didn't like football. My friend asked me if I come back to my house after the school to watch the match, but I was no interested because I know Argentina was a strong team and win the match easily, that was boring to me. My friend said: Football is a surprise, watch the match, incredible tihings could happen.
Well, I am fan of World Cup until today, thanks to Cameroon team.

The officiating in that match against England was a lot to be desired. Watching that game I could see that the referee literally handed the game to the losing England team.
