As someone from Great Britain, as much as I’d love for him to be a great talent who runs really well at a senior level (he obviously still could be!) from what I can see he simply looks like someone who’s body has matured way earlier than most. I just wonder where he can improve in his races. For someone like Gout, it’s obvious his start’s his weakness and if he improves that he’ll be one of the best in the world for sure, but for Divine his start’s probably better than Gout’s is NOW, let alone than when Gout was 14/15. My point was that Divine has a better start than Gout does at 16, meaning he’s not going to be able to make up a lot of time with an improved start over the next few years, unlike Gout, since his start’s already really good. You can’t just teach top speed. If you could then Christian Coleman would be a 9.5 sprinter. Gout has the top speed but not the start. If he improves his start then he’s an easy sub-10 runner. My issue with Divine is: where can he improve in his race over the next few years? Reading comprehension is key here, mate.

His body composition could still change dramatically plus there’s the risk of injury for a kid pushed too much when not fully grown. @@DonShields-ud8cf exactly,
That makes sense
It's amazing how fast he is given that he shows his spike plates to Jesus when he runs!
So far so good, but let's give him a few years to get his 100m time under 10.00 and then maybe we can revisit.
That is a TON of backside mechanics! Impressive he can be this fast with this technique
5:31 The 2024 100m should say 10.30 instead of 10.56
yes but it was an illegal wind so it doesnt officially count
@DNTLKDWN Are you sure?
@DNTLKDWN Wind was +1.7
@@AFIO-tm9yq yeah I didn't think it was illegal
Maybe he’ll get scouted to play college football
College football? You know he lives in England right?
Only 15? He'll grow a lot (men grow up to 23y old). So his abilities may shift a lot in the future but the mechanical base is massive.
Men certainly do not grow up till 23, you are referring to certain bones not reaching full maturity until then but its not the legs and not in length.Almost everyone is finished growing by 17 or 18 yo
Yeah growth slows down around 17
And he doesn't even look like he's going that fast
Gaot gaot
What a badass name
This is what superiority complex does. Not one comment here has reflected the fact that Iheme is Nigerian. His father and mother were Nigerian international athletes. Divine was born in Nigeria, before moving to the UK with his parents. The kid is Nigerian, until he says otherwise. According to Bob Marley in his song, guiltiness; "These are the big fish, who always want to eat up the small fish."
he literally said himself he wants to compete for team gb on the world stage
I wonder how Gout Gout would do against others his speed
He’d finish equal to them.
@MechanicalSculptor lol, good point. But what time would they run?
Still a fan of Sachin Dennis
why all the comments so negative. hating on british talent for some reason
dude looks 20 deffo a early bloomer
❤❤❤❤
He reminds of me of Justin Gatlin
Complete Nigerian 🇳🇬
What is happening here, with so many standout junior athletes? Is it training methods, supplements, or what?
Kids are overall hitting puberty earlier, getting better training earlier, getting better nutrition earlier and getting visibility easier.
@@markmason2045theyre not hitting puberty any earlier in the last 30 yrs so its not that.Probably better coaching and opportunities, shoes and tracks.
Iheme runs just like Jesse Owens.
Too early to call for the young bloke
If he is seen as an asset, then he needs special care and protection. What he eats, what he drinks, and generally what he does, without infringing on his human rights. This requires professional attention, till he becomes a full- grown adult. My humble viewpoint. Cheers.
I can already see him peaking in hs if he doesn’t pack on more muscle
fred kerley video nooooow!!
Another blind article.... Seems like he's a little baked about Gout Gout
Youth is not linear and everyone peaks differently. Too much speculation.
That guy is not 16 😅
He will be taken more seriously when he beats Matt Bolling. Sorry, couldnt resist.
this has to be a rage bait comment. Matthew is rolled ash
I hope Iheme does well however, I think his body looks older than his age. Too much muscle for a start.
Its not too much hes just a very early developer and hitting the weights.
People who thought he was going to talk about Gout Gout
👇
it literally says divine iheme in the title. Stop the glaze
His stride is like Tobogos to me
nice recap but that chart was so bad!! 😂
Gout gout?
He moves like Letsile
Nah
400m
Please check all Aussie's blood checks.
If they can use sandpaper to change the trjection of a cricket ball by screaming it.- I won't trust any of there athletes being "clean"
It's all about money!
Never seen before? Cmon now.
I mean it was an age group world record so yea it's a new level of speed my guy
Well, if he set a record, it's never been done before, genius.
Well, if you watch all the videos from this channel, you will be hard pressed to find one where he doesn't say "like I've never seen before" And he says it like it's the FIRST time he ever said it. It's the repetitive aspect of it that has me saying "cmon now".
Sorry if that got under your skin.
@@runcaz7802 this time it's really true though
Please get his name right. It is actually Guot Guot...pronounced Gwot. I watched the video where his father explained the error.
Incorrect. Don't listen to his dad, listen to how Gout says his name. That's the only one who matters. And he says it Gaut Gaut like in this video
@@edwin5419 Not sure what happened to my extensive 3-paragraph reply that seems to somehow disappeared, but there is more to the story. I guess it was too much truth.
@@evelynwoodward-johnson2229 whatever it was, Gout's offical documents say Gout and he calls himself Gout. Whatever his parents intended or what they call him is irrelevant.
He’s fast, but he’s no Gout Gout
he ran 10.3 at 14, gout ran 10.29 at 16. This is just plain hating
Your a average human but you ain’t no divine iheme 😌
Diese Kommentarsektion ist nun Eigentum der Bundesrepublik Deutschland
Gout gout still better
***CLICKBAIT VIDEO***
The future of sprinting looks great. The chances of someone going under 9.58 in the next 4 or 5 years are about 37%.
37%? lmao
That too high
wholeness. please call him by his correct name GUOT GUOT...
Wrong. That's not how Gout says his name. Video was correct
@@edwin5419 noooooo, it's not. they transcribed his name incorrectly when he first moved to Australia. check the videos of his father correctly pronouncing name. they transcribed it and pronounced it incorrectly. it is correctly spelled Guot, NOT Gout...do the research...
@@RAWkinnah guot isn't as easy to say as gout
