Is it Possible to Make Sonic Give up in Each Boss Fight in Sonic CD?

- As we all know, Sonic is a brave little creature who will never back down from any fight and won't give up until the bitter end.
However, we also know that he is quite the impatient so-and-so, and nowhere is this more apparent than in Sonic CD; should you leave him waiting for around 3 minutes, he'll have enough, jump off the stage and you'll get an instant Game Over.
But lately, I've been wondering something: is it possible to make him stand still long enough in each boss battle to do this during them? Well, that's what I aim to find out...

funny thing for the CD mobile port, you can actually glitch out of the barrier in the final boss. just stand in the corner before the barrier comes in.
i loved this game, and beat the piss out of it, but i literally NEVER knew he would up and give up on you if you ignores him lol this was a really good video

Git is lucky he doesn't have to listen the the North American version of Sonic CD's game over music every time Sonic jumps off the screen. The nightmare fuel would probably have kept him from doing this challenge.

Tidal Tempest bods has two phases. You could do the challenge in phase one.
i think emerald hill boss from sonic 2 has 2 phases either. the last hit is phase 2.

Speaking of sonic CD. There was a mobile version! But it became just lost media, except if you watch ender’s video it isn’t.
I remember when I first played Sonic CD, and I got to the end of a later level with less than 50 rings, so I didn't qualify for the big ring to take me to the special stage, and I couldn't backtrack at that point. I had 9 reserve lives, and the timer was currently at about 5½ minutes I think, so I figured I'd just wait around for the timer to hit 10 minutes and kill me so that I'd go back to the previous checkpoint and have another chance at gathering 50 rings in that level. So, I let the game run with Sonic idle and left the room for a few minutes, only to come back to "GAME OVER" staring me in the face. Yeah, I was NOT happy, and I never did 100% complete Sonic CD back then...
Yeah, I could've continued, but that felt like such an unfair blow to me, and I never really got around to playing it again after that.

if you wait 10 minutes in a stage, he automatically jumps off the stage. It's rumored why this happens is bec ause that is all the time values the game can record, thus they boot sonic out of the game, since it's the max value.

I have the mobile port, so I can only play the bosses in the future. And I don’t like the future. It’s so dark and depressing. You guys are lucky to have the original game.
The bosses are always fought in the future cause it happens after previous two levels on the original too. You need to bust the capsules to cause a good future on the previous two levels of the zone in the past, which fixes the future

I actually managed to make him quit in the mobile version what i did was leave the boss with two of his blades and stand in the middle but more to the left of the side and he wont be able to hit you so you can make sonic give up
