UEFI and BIOS in VirtualBox

  • By default, VirtualBox uses UEFI for Windows 11 virtual machines and BIOS for Linux virtual machines.
    Let's see how we can find out which one our virtual machine uses and how it can be changed.
    Let's also see the effect on the partitioning scheme, which can be either MBR or GPT.

    I spent hours recently rebuilding my Windows 10 bootloader after I over-wrote the EFI partition on my computer where I was dual booting Windows with Linux !

    Hi thank for the video. A question I have Ubintu 20.04 I would like to know how you get the image of the min 2:11. In Ubuntu I dont know how to obtain that.
