- Annie & Archie were feeling frisky this morning as they came together for 6 (SIX!) head-bowing pair-bonding displays all before noon. Bodes well for the breeding season ahead (though we hesitate to count our falcons before they hatch).

My goodness! Just got back from 6 days in NYC and it appears that Annie and Archie kept mighty busy while I was away. The only birds I saw in NYC were pigeons and I couldn't help but think what a tasty treat they would make for our California raptors! I'm glad to be back--I have a lot of catching up to do! Thank you for the marathon beaky love fest video, SKH--such a nice welcome home!

@fonlai8721- hi friend. I was thinking about him too. The last I heard was that he was being transferred to a rehabilitation specialist to teach him the necessary skillls to hunt fly etc with the hope of eventually being released back into the wild! 🙏❤️
I wish there was a way to hear an update but I don’t know! I’m sending sweet Little Boy Blue positive thoughts and love always! ❤️

Phew, that's a lot of dancing! Especially for the off season. Something must have gotten into them 😁 The note that Archie came back for #5 after only 30 seconds does make me wonder if 4 and 5 could be considered one bonding session; do both participants have to leave to stop a session or just one?🤓I suppose there aren't any falcon rules lawyers to care
Surely just one has to leave to consider a session complete! But, yes, where's a falcon rules lawyer when you need one?
