When Andy Lee played for the 49ers I remember him mentioning playing around with the knuckle punt. The returners on the team said it was crazy. I never seen him attempt it, but he seemed excited about the prospect of it in interviews.
I use the inverse grip to get a crazy left to right fade. Aim straight down the middle and it normally ends up outisde of the numbers, sometimes a yard or so out of bounds.
6:56 it’s a shame there’s no footage online of it that’s not just in a game, but Anthony Milford does this kick every week in the NRL. It’s super effective.
You should do a series teaching all of these and learning new ones

Sick, that punt is awesome
It looks like sometimes you hit the ball on the outside of your foot, does that bring more success?
