I used to listen to this youtube video on loop for hours, and sometimes it felt like I was looping it for days or weeks at a time - through high school exams and college assignments, and now in my work days as well. Every spring, like clockwork, it gets stuck in my head again and I’m back here to listen to it, and smile at how joyful it is. I think this week’s warm weather brought it to mind again even though it’s definitely not spring. Thank you for this one Laura - I have sung many of your pieces (and will be performing Christmas Snowflakes in a few days!) but I have not yet had the pleasure of singing this one anywhere but to myself around the house. Maybe one day :)

I was introduced to this beautiful piece of music at the Halifax Conducting Institute (2019). It is always in my head and on my mind. Kudos to Laura Hawley!!

Thank you Laura for this great interpretation of Shakespeare's sonnet! It is very intelligent, bright and joyfull ! I discovered WS's sonnets 2 weeks ago (they are not so famous in France). You give your own version of this beautifull sonnet : thats a delight for my ears! Thank you
