The fact that he said it so casually is a huge thing. He doesnt owe it to anyone to explain what his sexuality is but let's not diminish the possibility that this could mean that he's not straight. That would be straightwashing. This is exactly how it should be, be totally casual with who you are attracted to and not have to explain your sexuality to anyone.

I like the way you phrase this. "lets not diminish the possibility.." is not the same as claiming he is gay which is presumptuous. The only person who has the right to label his sexuality is Jacob, but its pretty clear that his answer enhances the likelyhood he does not identify himself as straight and he's inviting some speculation with his choice. Jacob is not saying anything, and he's not walking away from anything. Neither should we!

@@cheesecakelasagna Brad's a handsome man, but it means nothing if you're only attracted to late teens/early twenties. I aged very well up to 80 and still had a full head of hair, but I lost my sex drive at around 70 and am really falling apart as I reach 87 in two weeks. Most people no longer have the drive to work out and moisturize at a certain point, especially if you no longer desire sex. (Of course I was no Brad Pitt when I was young, so I just aged well with what God gave me.)
I definitely like Jacob’s candor and honesty. Men always name a female when being asked this question. A crush doesn’t always equate romantic & sexual interest. Most men have someone of the same sex that they greatly like, admire,respect, or find to be good-looking, but they’re just afraid to share it & say it out loud.
