    That was very honest of you to post that experience - I have been there in a similar situation myself in slightly different circumstances but I think it will have given you some idea of what you are able to do without a lot of years of experience behind you. Also best part is you now know what needs more experience before undertaking.

    Awesome mountain climbed it a 3 years ago, not one to be taken lightly to be honest, I also would say going down that way is very difficult, Coming up the north ridge and down the south is so much easier. I was hiking round Betws y Coed last Monday to Wednesday, Failed to get to the top of Carnedd Llewelyn Tuesday because the visibility was awful then Wednesday the weather was perfect (glyder fawr summit) and the climb up devils kitchen is so fun if you haven't tried it, but the loose rock in the end is exhausting and infuriating.

    Please note that every `f ` in Welsh is pronunced the same as the English `v`, and every `ff ` is pronunced the same as the English `f `. Thanks.
