- V380 pro camera 2023 latest version network setting tutorial:
Both the QR code method and the App hotspot method can complete the network settings, please use one of the methods.
Please make sure to allow the permissions of the app after installing the app, disabling some functions will cause a connection error. For example, if the App is not allowed to access the phone camera function then you will not be able to scan the QR code.
Please make sure that the network name and password do not have special characters or non-English words.

QR code settings:
1. The phone has been connected to your home WiFi network;
2. Turn on the QR code scanning mode and scan the camera ID QR code (usually on the camera body or on the packaging box);
3. Enter the network password according to the prompts and wait for the network connection to be successful;
4. After setting a device password, it is now ready to use.
Hotspot settings:
1. The phone has been connected to your home WiFi network;
2. Select the Ap hotspot connection mode, enter the network password you need to connect, and follow the prompts to find the camera network signal (MV+numbers) on your phone network search page, and connect to that network signal;
3. After successfully connecting to the hotspot signal, return to the App and wait for the network connection to complete;
4. After setting a device password, it is now ready to use.

What qr code did you scan? Qr code of the home's wifi device or qr code of the 380v camera box it came in?
my box didn't even Have a QR code, it has a tiny manual with one inside but it can't read it. it fails every time...this thing's a POS

The correct way is to set a recording plan for the camera in the App after inserting the SD card, and the camera will automatically record according to the recording plan.

I've 6 V380 Pro app cameras installed on home. 4 of them are functioning by ap access to my router. Recently I've bought two OKAERI bulb camera but this cameras doesn't recognizes my router in ap mode. Even don't detects my wifi router in listing. Don't understand how 4 of my cameras recognizes my router and the two news ones doesn't. With this two cameras I've to access individually by connecting my iphone directly to each camera. Any idea? or how to to enter manually ( i mean typing ) the router name and password.
Are you sure the two new cameras use the V380 Pro app? Check the manual for details. Also, verify your router’s device limit and try resetting the cameras. If you can connect to the hotspot and see video, the camera's connection module is fine.

I have to use the same network, which the camera is using. Please solve the problem. have been facing a problem with connection. Can is not working without using the same network with which the camera is connected.
After you change the network, you can try to unbind, reset, and then reconnect to the new network.

just make sure you are using the V380 pro App. If you download the correct App, it must have Ap connection and QR connection

How to fix if there is a problem in playback? We can't view the previous videos. Because the play is not working well. It only turns loading. The memory card is already inserted and we format the sd card on the day that we install the cctv. We also try to review the video using smart phone but still doesn't work. Kindly help
You can try to pull out the sd card and insert it into the computer to read the video file.
I want to connect it through wired because it's 5g wifi isn't supported and I have this Ethernet cable and micro usb connector for wifi but I don't even know how to set it, it's because it's so laggy in 2.4g and i can't record everything my cousin do in my room

@@jennyhill7313 The micro sd card is for video storage, which is different from real-time viewing. That is to say, even if you don't insert the sd card, you can watch real-time video, but without the micro sd card, you can't record the video, and you can't playback the video.

Hi again, I got my 3 bulbs, installed app and have the first one set up. Then I received a notice that someone like my comment and realized that I ordered from someone other than you. It's the same bulbs but a different app that doesn't have the same controls that your app has, at least I haven't found where I can move to cam around with my phone...I'm wondering, would I be able to use your app with my new bulbs? This one is called Tuya

This camera is not working after switching to a new location and wifi. I've been working on it for hours. It comes up in wifi settings and then asks for password, which I don't have. how do I reset it and start all over again? I uninstalled and reinstalled app and it remembers the first settings, so I can't seem to do a hard reset on this piece of junk.
Unbind the camera in the App, reset the camera, and use the Ap mode to connect again in the new wifi environment.

Yes, through the V380 pro app. if you have WiFi in your home connected to the smart camera you can view the live and have full control of the camera, wether you are out of town or on the other side of the planet as long as you can open the app and your phone is connected to the internet you can control and speak through it.

If your router supports 5ghz and 2.4ghz dual frequency, let the camera link to 2.4Ghz, your phone can link to 5Ghz, and still be able to watch the camera.

When setting up the network, if you see your mifi signal in the wifi search list, you can try connect it. If there are no link errors, you can watch the video normally.

if you can't scan QR code and connect, then use the AP connection to setup the camera network, follow the instruction at 2:56

Hi, i badly need an answer for this: can this make a recording saved in the SD even when I am away from home and I don't have the app opened? I will be leaving the camera plugged in at home while I am away (for work or leisure). TIA
Yes. It will saved the footage on the microSD card. Even the camera is not connected to WiFi or the app is not opened. As soon as the camera is powered on. It will continuously saved on the microSD and you can review it later on your smartphone. I hope it help you 😊
Yes, you can insert an SD card and it will record continuously. You can view the replay the recording via the app for later, and don't worry about the storage capacity because when it gets full it automatically deletes the oldest recording and replace it with the most recent ones. I suggesy buying a 32gb SD card to have like 5-7 days of stored recording.

totally setup and connect the camera with your phone App, then login to your account on your PC, the camera will show on the list and you can view it. With this method of linking, there is usually no problem of connect failure.

Two options: 1, log in to your account on the second phone; 2, download the app on the second phone and register a new account, share the camera to that new account.

To confirm whether the camera is really powered off, or is not connected. Check whether there is a camera signal "MVXXXXX" in the mobile phone network search page.
