I love that the crew gets a space to themselves at night.
I can tell you from experience that that makes a massive improvement to your time on-board.

@@geoffpegler4506 absolutely. I worked on an older Abeking that had a secondary engineers cabin converted to an owner's cabin while we traveled across the ocean. He insisted of being on board during transit, but didn't like the main deck master up front so he had the cabin near the engine room converted into a space for him and that meant both engineers then bunked together. That also meant he thought he was part of the crew and would eat in the crew lounge sometimes or come watch a movie at night. I know he was lonely but it put you constantly on edge.
I don't know, they might start getting ideas...next thing you know they might want to see the sunlight, then it's the guillotine for us.
They should just be happy we have diesel engines instead of oars
Hopefully they have time to actually enjoy it.
If I had the money to choose, I'd buy an old one like this and refit it. They have so much more style than most of the more recent floating IKEA caravans.

This fine example of a vintage yacht is a site to behold. No matter where you sail you become a part of the beauty of the location when you're on a fine vintage Benetti yacht.
Love these older yachts as they have so much class. A separate and roomy crew quarters shows an appreciation for the crew. What a beauty!
How tastefully done, nice to know that there are owners that still love these older boats and don’t mind spending $$$ to keep history going.
Nice to see all crew have their own cabins. As you very well know. The further out to see you go, the smaller the boat becomes. Now the
Crew can hide undisturbed with a cuppa tea.
Many yachts featured on Aquaholic are stylish and artfully appointed. Many are literally works of art. Some so gorgeous that simply looking becomes a bit intimidating as everything is just so and nothing can be moved or the decor would be spoiled - fun to visit. This yacht feels as though it is literally inviting folks aboard just for the enjoyment. Kudos to all involved in this rebuild and special thanks to Aquaholic for the video.

The exterior is flawless, the interior could be given some 60s decor, but its a lot of boat for a smidge over £4m. That rear arbour on the upper deck is just about the most perfect relaxing spot ever seen on a boat.

The lamps and ottoman in the salon were screaming 60's. I only know because my grandma has furniture that looks just like it that hasn't been updated since 😂 And the crew area's cabinetry was also very 60's.
I do agree though, it needed just a bit more to liven it up 😊
And that rear seating area was DIVINE 😍
If the Oxford dictionary ever published an illustrated version, this beauty would appear under the definition of "yacht". She must turn heads where ever she goes. True classic elegance with the expected modern amenities. Definitely one of the best you have shared with us. Thanks Nick.

I love, LOVE classic yacht styling. Even if I got my lottery windfall and purchased a new superyacht, I'd have the interior done up like that. Love the dark woods and the contrasts. The paneling, cabinetry, all of it! Just lovely!
That's absolutely beautiful. That fly-bridge with the enclosed seating at each end is one of the most inviting things I can remember seeing on this channel. Good to see a tastefully-appointed super yacht at last!

I’ve seen, and enjoyed pretty much all of your yacht tours. Most of them are absolutely fantastic, but every now and again, there’s one that makes me exclaim “oh my word”. This is one of those times. That owner’s cabin takes your breath away. The whole boat has a floating “orient express” vibe. So stylish and classy, yet with modern features tastefully incorporated. I think this is my new favourite yacht.
Luxury, sumptuous, oozing pure pamperdness, quality beyond our wildest expectations - words cannot do this yacht justice.
Probably the most beautiful yacht I've seen on this channel yet. Amazing mix of classic beauty and modern amenties. Fantastic refit :)

I love that each crew gets a personal room, with shared bathrooms. That makes so much more sense than shared rooms with ensuites - I'm sure that crew would rather private room with shared bathrooms than shared rooms with individual bathrooms.
When I was a boy, way back then, this is the type of yacht I dreamed about.... Classic style.
A trip back in time, to a golden age of beauty in all things. Well done Nick, absolutely adore it.
What is absolutely brilliant about this yacht is of course the comfortable, classic feel of it. It is a statement of excellent taste without compromising on modern amenities. Truly a feelgood vessel!

This has got to be the best interior layout that I have ever seen on any of your tours, I am in love. And the cherry on top, this is also the best crew area I've ever seen on any yacht that I can remember. This is how you treat your crew right.

Beautiful ship! I was amused at 9:15 where you got embarrassed at calling the stairs a ladder - I was over 30 years in the navy, where all stairs in a ship are in fact called ladders. So in my mind you were actually correct 😉

Real class of a yacht. Very impressed Nick with the merging of old and new. Even the crew are well looked after here. 1st class!
The modern yachts you show us are all very clever and often quite spectacular. But you just can't beat a bit of class. This is the sort of boat a chap would be quite happy spending six months or more on board exploring the South Sea Islands with his gal and a few good chums.
The owner is a true enthusiast of classic boating. Great refit and video.😊

Back to an era that appreciates the crew and rewards them with proper living quarters.
Its the little things that go unnoticed, like all the proper knobs and handles instead of clicky push buttons and such. Atmosphere that's inviting rather than sterile executive suites. When oh when will designers begin to bring back the comfort and charm of a proper yacht.

So beautiful....its easy to forget that40 years ago, apart from Christina O, this would be as big as they came pretty much. So much more elegant from the 'willy waving' vast floating 'block of flats' modern superyachts.
Yes there is less space due to the slimmer beam and lack of extra levels, but at least you feel as though you are actually in a boat, rather than a flash apartment.
I love the canoe stern.
Pendennis Yard, is something to be proud of...British boat building at its best.
For me, this would be all the boat I would need 😎

Que the oodles of joy ,this is a proper wee ship a true Gentleman's Yacht of the old school brought tastefully and exquisitely up to date . I love the uppy downyness of the companionways . Finances permitting of course I wouldn't need a house I'd happily live on board this beauty . Once again Nick I salute you sir wonderfull video as always you do bring us avid fans some wonderfull things to behold . This one even had the added drama of a nearly tipping Maggie .

A gorgeous classic family yacht for extended cruising. single cabins for the crew. set up exquisitely for a 3 month adventure around the med.
The wood work on the stern is absolutely amazing. Never seen wood curved up into a 180 degree turn. This rebuild is superb. She may be almost 60 years old, but she looks like brand new. Thanks for this great tour.
