I have a 2023 Indian Challenger Dark Horse. I took a 1600 mile round trip ride to Knoxville from Texas. Very comfortable bike, I just changed the bars and it was perfect. It has a ton of power , it was a very enjoyable ride.
Riding in the rain isn’t bad if you can keep the speed up! You did it like a champ! Congratulations on the bike! I know it’s a loaner but still sweet!

Glad you got to ride it and keep it for awhile.. I did a demo ride at Americade on the exact bike and really liked it.. they give you a lot of upgrades as stock.. great price point also.. enjoy
great video and congrats on getting the loaner from White Plains Indian. Those guys are great. Picked up a few bikes from them in the past including a 2020 Challenger dark horse. Bike was a beast. The only thing it needs is a nice 2 into 1 exhaust and some bars.. nothing else. Already has inverted forks, mono shock rear suspension, LEDs all around, brembo breaks, and a nice comfy seat. Enjoy it. I also have a 2022 Road Glide ST. Honestly the Challenger is a better buy.
I agree it doesn’t need much but I would still add on a bunch of cosmetic stuff to it to make it stand out from the others
Look forward to future content on the Challenger. It would be nice if Pnutz rides it to get his perspective on it vs the RGST as well💯

@@MK87_try not to ride directly next to a vehicle. U are either in front or behind the vehicle next to you. Make a pass so you are always out of their blind spot. Safety is everything, ride safe

I can only afford one bike so it's an Indian Roadmaster for me but if I had the money I would own an HD as well. Love American style touring bikes period!

Rode the challenger and pursuit yesterday at a demo days and they are bad ass bikes. I might trade my heritage for one in a bit. Cant wait to see what your experience is with it.

It's a nice bike. Just hope you never, ever require service during riding season. This spring a good friend waited over five weeks (!) for the local dealership to complete an in-warranty head gasket replacement. Last year he waited several months for a replacement transmission. If you're a rider or traveler, think long and hard about service wait times and comparatively diminutive dealer network.
great video. I have had 4 road glides. I have a 2021 rg special now. I've been watching a ton of videos on people trading their rg for the Indian challenger. I went and rode one last Thursday and its a better bike. It rides better, has more power and handles better. I'm probably going to trade mine in for a challenger. Can't wait to see more videos on the Indian

Love the look of the Challenger. Haven’t had the please of riding on one yet but main reason why I usually go with HD over Indian is the dealer network. Just not many Indian dealerships through the US. Only 1 in CT and it’s about an hour away from me.
Yea it’s something the company needs to work on. Harley has a huge advantage when it comes to dealer network and aftermarket.

Barnstorm cycles is the only company that makes a t bar set up for the challenger. Only thing I believe Kraus makes for Indians is for the chief. One major reason I bought a roadglide over a challenger

I would love a Bobber as a second bike.
The Challenger is extremely top heavy. Plan on dropping it. Invest in guards! Once in motion it’s pure bliss.
If you have access to do accessories, you should change out the handlebars. Then do the air intake, slip-on exhaust and the flare out windshield. Are they giving you a budget?

So what it Polaris.I own both HD and Indian. Some you all need get out more.Competition is great for consumers.Indian Polaris is helping push HD .How many decades did HD rest on their laurels and give not that many improvements particularly performance and suspension handling etc.Uh yea HD lowrider st in garage and have owned Sportster. The Scout line comes along and presto improvements. Yes Emissions epa but come on Indian is landing blows.We all win !
How does the fairing compare to the Road glide on the highway?

Sill bad ass. I've had a Rushmore street glide and still have the 2015 road glide. They hit it outbof the park with the challenger. Harley prices are freaking ridiculous. $54k for the new CVO Road glide. Thats a really nice car or truck. No way Harley. No way.

I live 5 min from that shop. They just did demo rides i road just about all the bikes. I ride a 2020 lowrider s . And im thinking of switching over to indian they are a great rideing bike. Loved the indian dark horse challenger.

whenever I see the beautiful bike, I think the narrow fork bars at the front will break down somehow. and the massive fairing fits as little into the overall line as the HD Road Glide 2023 CVO. sorry

I think Barnstorm is the only company with a riser setup for Challengers. Only reason I went with a Road Glide over the Indian.

Don’t know about risers but KST makes the Comanche bagger bars for them. I think you said Indian will allow you to put Indian upgrades on it and they probably make something similar.

The silver outline on the front speakers , is so un- classy ! It makes it look so cheap. That’s why the dark horse is so much better especially the headlight accents that come with the dark horse package.
Im honestly not a fan of that chrome outline either.
I like the background music. Your Road Glide looks way cooler to me, and you look better on it.

Mate, if the ride modes also simultaneously changes the suspension settings to match, then together with the windshield electronic height adjustment and great stock suspension, you already have a bike that is hands-down superior than the HD offering. It's a shame the loan Challenger isn't red, would look even more magic next to your RG.

I brought a brand new Indian Chieftain Limited and it was the worse bike I’ve ever owned. The bike went into limp mode at 2,000 miles. It wouldn’t go above 30 mph. Also, I was in a state where I was unfamiliar. I thought Indian/Polaris would aid me since the bike was under warranty, but they didn’t. I had to have the bike towed to the dealer I brought it from . After sending it to two different dealers, they told me that the bike had software issues. And they had to build a new software for it. I asked how long would that take, and they said they don’t know. I asked could they just replace the bike. And Polaris/Indian said that they couldn’t replace it. So they expected me to pay for a bike I couldn’t ride. The bike couldn’t be repaired or replaced yet, they expected me to pay for it. I traded that piece of junk for a new Harley Davidson Road Glide Special. The HD dealers are easy to find and they honor their warranty. Be careful with Polaris/ Indian. The bikes and the company are trash.
