Been goin to Frankenmuth yearly since 2006 (minus 2020-2022) but I have learned a few things that I never noticed. Need to look up more often at the tops of the buildings. Will be on my bucket list for this Sept.
@@MagellanandGreyhound no. I have only gone during the Frankenmuth Autofest in Sept every yr. Would love to go other times of the yr someday. Need to b rich lol
@@BODUKE3201 oh I just looked that up. That looks really fun! I would totally attend that if I was nearby. And I understand the feeling, there’s a ton of places we want to visit that seem impossible and too expensive.
@@MagellanandGreyhound there is usually 2500 hundred cars. The record for most to ever go over the weekend was 2700 and somethin. And I think that was just counting inside heritage park alone.
Wow! This is so amazing. Pity, that we didn’t explore Frankenmuth as it was snowing..) It seems a great place to explore during summer. You could have made a separate video about the Christmas store, it’s enormous. We had a dinner at Zehnder’s as the waiting time at BI was 45 min..) Sorry Bavarian Inn..! Such a great place that mimics the Bavarian style so much..! Great video.
We live in souther Ontario and go every few years. Love everything about the place. My kids (now young adults) still love Bronners. My rife loves the stores and my favourite is the Cheese Haus. What a wonderful place. Quick story my 19 year old son was just diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in February we said we will take a family trip wherever you want to go to that we can drive to in a day. We don’t have a lot of money. Just to forget about life and have fun for a few days. He is done with his first year of college April 29 and we leave April 30 for frankenmuth. It truly is our favourite place.
It really is awesome and we would love to visit again when nearby. I am sorry to hear about your son. I know it may not mean much coming from a stranger, but to varying degrees we all experience things in life that set us back and yet we have to push forward. It sounds like he is, despite the diagnosis. You clearly love him and I hope you all have a great time in Frankenmuth.
@@brianloveless2717 I am from Ontario 2. About 1-1/2 to 2 hrs north of Toronto. We go every Sept for Autofest and we r there 4 days. We usually stay in Saginaw and drive into Frankenmuth for the day each day of the 4 days we r there.
Frankenmuth is my happy place and my very own version of going to those Cottages up north. Also what I like Best about the Chicken Dinners at both the Bavarian Inn and Zehnders is it is not as Greasy as KFC .
Agree wholeheartedly! We haven't eaten KFC in years, it's too dry and greasy. The Bavarian Inn was so perfectly cooked. We need to try Zehnders next time we visit.
Love watching videos like this.....live close by.......and been a dozen times and learned a lot from your tour. Thanks. Wish I would have known you were here, you could have toured off grid with Jay and Jens off grid property. If yours still in the area send us a message. Have a great spots for a camper set up. @@MagellanandGreyhound again awesome work on your videos....very professional and well laid out. I figured you were long gone, but we have a little place off the beaten path if you ever need a spot to park it for a night or two. Best wishes
@@OffgridwithJayandJen you as well! Would definitely be cool. We didn’t realize how close or awesome Michigan really was, and we have much left to explore.
Cheese, cheese, cheese...well, if it hasn't been said yet, How cheesy! I know, just couldn't help myself. lol But Christmas?? What's with that! lol Besides bananas...cheese comes in a close second for Otis! He'd be leaking all over the place! lol Quite the spot! Bruce and Otis
We went there this summer. It was a highlight of our trip!
Awesome! We loved Frankenmuth so much. Glad you enjoyed too
I would love this place!
It’s a cute town :)
This place is so fun! Have to add it to our places to visit. Love that you include the historical aspects of the location too. CHEESE!!!!
We were unexpectedly surprised at how fun it was. It seemed like it would be only fun during Christmas or Octoberfest. The cheese was good :)
