correct me if I am wrong but can you not add a PC that allows you to tweak if it is not all ready added so that you can add and subtract pitch to get that Darth Vader voice or that voice without the girl being shaken effect lol ?? and cool video by the way
yes it would the best way is to take out the input and solder in a connector from say an old cel phone that has that spacific size of input most old flip phones have this thats just a guess
Hey man nice one, but can i ask you something? (this thing that you made is from the 101 spy gadgets for evil genius?)That book is amazing. nice video anyway
The kit came with a short piece of white wire, maybe 8" long. The instructions said to cut the wire in half to make an extension cable. I decided to use some hook-up and a 3.5mm mini-plug to make the ext. cable you see in the video.
Hey man, nice video, i´ve already buy one of these but it havent arrived at Brazil yet! I´ve question for you, does the Mic has a extended cable? or its togheder with the board? sorry for the english, im out of pratice!
@DIYChrisMike can u list all the component and all of the components specification? because im confused with some of the component.... hope you can reply immediately... TQ
I am making that same kit but I am making modifications to it, extended the the mic with a 12 inch cable and I am adding a cutoff jack for a 8' input..so when I plug in a pair of headphones or patch cable it cuts out the output of the speaker.
hey, we are doing a project on physics related to music. This video really gave me a great idea! to make our own voice changer. however, we know very little about electronic since we are still in grade 11... umm where would we get this kit? could we buy it? and is it as easy as you made it look?
I was wondering if it would ever be possible to make a voice changer for a headset maybe? Like, having the voice box inside the left headphone and it is somehow connected to a small mic that you could talk through.
dave strider I'm building a full costume from construction foam, from head to toe, I'm also hoping to install a voice muffler, a light-up function in the wrist blaster, and a sound system to make the stomp sounds.
NeoDragonCount wow im doing the same thing but for a homestuck brobot if you but a pre made cbyerman helmet there really good light up muffled and sounds alot like this
I'm actually doing a project on this circuit at school, @truluvR7 the IC used for modulating your voice is WIN8072, and I'm having an impossible time finding a data sheet for it. @RyanDMcAfee yes it can be used to lower the pitch of your voice. If you want to buy it, you can get it from Carl's Electronics, that's where I just ordered it from, worked out to 25 bucks for it and shipping to Canada. Search for Voice changer kit on the site.
umm well sorry but halloween just passed but you can buy a portable voice changer at a halloween store sorry about this but most of them close when halloween starts :(
i built that one as well and it doesn't sound very clear... also it uses up the battery pretty quick. You cant even understand what your saying through it.
IF TINY LITTLE THINGS WERE CHANGED, THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN THE PERFECT ALVIN VOICE

@dirtbikedud0404
I don't know for sure, but it seems like modulating with a simple 555 might do the trick.

Alright then how about this: Is there any way you can make it so it will output sound through a 2.5 MM jack?
Any idea if this would work with the Xbox Live's headset jack?
nice music ;)
Cool. Could you message me a link to where I can find the kit at?
That would work fine.
What IC did you use for the voice changer?
which kind of glue do you use
Is it good for halloween costumes?
umm well sorry but halloween just passed but you can buy a portable voice changer at a halloween store sorry about this but most of them close when halloween starts :(
So is that the ONLY change it does to your voice?
you could have given us a preview of the other voices
Not sure.

i built that one as well and it doesn't sound very clear... also it uses up the battery pretty quick. You cant even understand what your saying through it.

Can you conceal this in a bow tie?
Yes, you can but you need to change some of the component
PS. It works great, but you should consider putting it In a bandana and cover your mouth
+Hax1904 Was wondering cause of Detective Conan has a voice changing bow tie
