Imagine knowing him I'm 44 years old now and I knew him from about the age of 11:00 to 18 and he was a good man a true artist but I feel your pain too but he was a great guy just haunted
The version of White Freightliner on Sunshine Boy is another take from the Nashville Sessions - so with a full backup band. Similar to this one - ruclips.net/video/oghrsNS2YhY/видео.html - but there are some differences. So yeah, way different than the version on Old Quarter or Rearview Mirror. It's hard to beat those versions, but the Sunshine Boy version really cooks. The band is damn good. I'll work on uploading it for ya.
My favourite TVZ song. It never gets listed in "top 10" lists of his work but I think it's beautiful.
I really feel this one too. Probably a toss up between this and "nothin'"
@@RaneBane For me, maybe this one and "High, Low, and In Between."
Poetry. Townes at his best.
A beautiful word painting, Townes uses words like van Gogh used paints, timeless and rare.
What an amazing comparison of two deeply emotional artists. I hadn't thought of it but immediately recognized the truth in your words.
Both were bypolars.
My favorite Townes song, has been for 8 years now.
Nice version this 👌
One of his best songs... Townes was a true poet.
God, that is an amazing song.
I should have the discipline not to start my day with Townes
+Oscar Commie LOL. Same here. Otherwise, the whole days goes on RUclips, from one song to another.
What a bad way to start the day

@@sharonstefl5688what was he haunted by?
Life and death and himself. ❤😊
One of Townes best in my opinion.....dark and starke....
Music to rip your heart out listening to at 2 in the morning downing a bottle of whiskey
Well I'll raise my glass to you if you're still on the sauce
@@dr.slowdeath1852 Do you need a refill over there, Amigo?
One of my favorites.
Townes' best song I think

King Crimson is the greatest ... Townes as well... all I need is the dead , the band, king crimson and townes music
Holy fuckin shit man, you got me. You got me good with this one.

Does anyone have the SUNSHINE BOY version of WHITE FREIGHT LINER? I’m dying to see if there is a difference. Thx in advance.

1973 - 1972
Wtf
Who the fuck gives this a thumbs down
Who cares - don't take it personally.
We need those people. Makes what we admire and value even more valuable.
This song reminds me of The Walking Dead, mostly reminds me of Daryl Dixon thinking about losing Beth 😢😢😢
