    I just passed. If I would give any advice, it would be to know Nmap (switches and syntax), injection attacks (what they look like and how to remediate them), and a general understanding of what each tool does. A really good resource for info is the WGU pentest+ subreddit. The cert is required for their BSCIA program, so a lot of people give good feedback there. Read the answers, then the question, then the paragraph. This can help keep info straight in your head.

      Never a good sign when they go silent. I’ve heard of failing it multiple times before passing it. Taking next month and just getting started!

    This was VERY helpful. I'm just now starting this class, and I was most worried about domain 5.0, so hearing what you said about it eased my mind. Thank you!

    Also this is one of the best videos explaining some tips on this exam available. So many others were absolute garbage, just reading off the exam objectives, reading off the CompTIA site. Good job.

    Will be preparing for this certification soon as part of my bachelor’s degree program. Thank you for advising on how to prioritize study efforts. Super helpful.

    I take it in seven days. I already have CySA, Network, Server and Security+. Hopefully all that with all my studying now is enough.

    81.25% of the points to pass but questions are worth different ammounts of points based on its weight.

      Hello bro what do you think about exam topics?

    • @edwardkostreski6733
      @edwardkostreski6733 Год назад

      @Rodrigo Hernandez i feel like im never going to be ready. i am still on chapter 14 out of 20, and I still have not tstart the labs yet.
      I mean what do you wanna know about the topics? I like that it covers many topics because I'm learning things that I would not bother to learn otherwise, Like legal issues and methodology.
      Did you download the exam objectives?

      @@intelligencequest I honestly overthink it. I thought there was going to be more programing etc. But in my case had 5 coding problems and the rest were multiple choice. I pulled my hair couple of times but glad I passed it.

      @Wil Rivera yeh I think a cert like Pentest+ could go either way, TBH... coding is a great skill to have, but it definitely is not the only way to be an effective penettation tester

      We are going to have spin up a discord server with more resources, sample questions, sample performance based PBQ's basically all of the resources we have aggregated to teach these classes in person

    Maybe I missed it, but what resources did you use to study for and pass the exam? Or did you have enough experience that you just needed a light review?

    • @intelligencequest
      @intelligencequest  8 месяцев назад +1

      to be frank, a light review was only needed, I also used other instructors/professionals as resources, I hope this channel can serve as similar resource for others on specific topics
