Haulover is an easy inlet. Boca Raton (Mouth of the Rat named by Spaniard explorers) Boynton Beach are treacherous. I grew up jumping off of Haulover Bridge and snorkeling in that inlet and also navigating boats in and out. Getting swamped or sinking in that inlet is always pure incompetence. Boynton Beach inlet has sunk experienced licensed charter boat captains. The only inlet I’ve ever come back after the weather changed rapidly for the worse that I regretted not taking the long route by coming back in via port of Palm Beach which is built for navigation. Haulover, Boca and Boynton are natural inlets maintained for drainage and it says so on the charts that entry should not be attempted without local knowledge. That means if your not an experienced captain take the long way witch would be port of Miami, Ft Lauderdale or Palm Beach. People that sail know this because we use paper charts. Power boaters do not because they’ve never seen a paper chat except in an aisle at Boars US. GOS doesn’t warn them. Paper charts do.
I don't know the law in all states but here in the midwest if a vessel is in distress you have to help, even if it means calling a towing company or something. I don't get how other boats just pass around the unpowered boat like nothing is happening.
Just like a car on the side of the road, I keep going in this day and age with cell phones and criminals there's no need to stop and offer assistance, and if you do help prepare to be sued if your actions cause harm. Your lack of ability and preparedness are not my problem, I also don't want or expect any help either one thing we can learn from these videos is more likely than not the people that try to help make the situation much worse
@@Zzrdemon6633 You do you, but there is a lot of misinformation on your post. Unlike a boat in distress, a car on the side of the road is not subject to the currents or the wind, etc. Also, people in a car can actually leave the car there and move to a safer place. You should google United States, federal law 46 USCS sec. 2304 and Florida Good Samaritan Laws to get more information about this. I don't think everybody is prepared to tow a boat, but at the very least they should try not to put them in more danger by throwing a big wake at them.
If someone from the boat is in the water with no life jacket, as usual ,their life may depend upon stopping to render aid. There is no way I would drive by. Let them sue me. I’m acting under the ethical guideline of many Good Samaritan provisions to assist people who clearly would benefit from my intervention.
Round 2 loss to the yatc for not slowing down, round 4 is a local speed boat adventures thing but I don't believe it's from the Turks, look at all the seats you pay for a speed boat experience, tourists and local attraction another one is "Thriller"....it has nothing to do with the video 😂😂😂
That Cobia was beautiful! Perfectly executed by the captain.

Wow, that intro boat was gorgeous. (the Robalo wasn't taking it easy, it just didn't have that much to give)

I’m amazed that in America they don’t wear life jackets From Australia
