Trepang2 (stylized Trepang²) is a FPS video game designed by Trepang Studios and published by Team17 in June 2023 for PlayStation 5, PS5, Xbox Series X and Series S and Microsoft Windows. Gameplay is similar to mid-2000s FPS games. The protagonist must rely on stealth, but players eventually must fight their way through enemies, both human and paranormal.

Decided to try this game out after hearing great things. Appreciate all the likes you drop on this one! Not sure if it'll be more than one video I'll just see how this goes.

Pretty bad for a 2023 fps game.
I'm more interested about the assassin who freed you, that used cloak & dagger. He left a trail of dead bodies without making any sounds.

In the beginning, it told you how to do a jump kick, which is useful for opening doors/gates and probably breaking through riot shields as well. All you gotta do is jump and melee in combination to activate it
Nah you just slide into the shield guys, will knock them over and make them easy to kill.

You know there are times when I wonder how large of a screen brad plays on. I used to have a friend who would play games on a massive tv and as a result would miss a lot of things that were obvious for me to see on a normal monitor. I've always noticed brad missing things right in front of him (like picking up ammo and thinking it was someone loading a shotgun), but I usually just attributed it to the in the game mindset vs the watching mindset. Now i'm wondering if there might be more to it than that

looks amazing, but there wasn't nearly enough blood with the gunshots. f.e.a.r (one of my all-time favourite shooters) had blood splatter in spades. but similarly to fear, i did love the juxtaposition of the mundane office emails/ voicemails with the insane gunplay.

Dang "inspired by FEAR" is an understatement. This looks and plays like FEAR in almost every way. Whoch os fine by me. Always been kind of surprised nobody has done a remake of that series yet
