    • Closing thoughts:
o On wrist - Perfect goldilocks sizing and proportions, lays flat and contours to the wrist really well w/o feeling overly thin, not a one-trick-ultra-thin-pony but a well-rounded and balanced wear
o Model Variants - Check site links in description for options and availability
o Comparable models - Traditional Dress watches aren’t super abundant in the microbrand space, especially considering choice of high-grade movement paired with USA assembly and regulation
o Bottom-line - The Ellum is a standout and is far from the standard microbrand success formula, so it’s great to continue seeing the Jack Mason brand do things their own way, driven by design and the desire to bring their customers something truly special with each new release

Jack Mason have really come into their own with their latest releases. This one in particular is really nice.

Nice watch, to dressy for my taste though, and for that price I'd go for a chris Ward, the twelve 🎉

Agreed. Or a bit more, Formex. Think the cost needs to come down quite a bit.

I really like Jack Mason, in fact I have a Hydrotimer on the way. This Ellum is very nice, but I do see 2 obvious drawbacks. One is the date complication. I do not think this dress watch needs a date. After all,it is a dress watch. If, however, a date for JM was an imperative, it should have been color matched to the dial. Secondly, I believe this watch is just a bit overpriced. Not having held the Ellum in hand, I can't say it's not worth it. What I can say is that there are so many more established micros selling dress watches for less money, that this Jack Mason may, sadly, be overlooked.
