Lovely first image Russ with the backlight on the silver birches and the hazy atmosphere. A lovely plantation for a wander and great drone footage to highlight the entire area. Whatever the light, the conditions, the weather, it's always great to just get out and scout , enjoy the solitude and birdsong. And my bloopers usually comprise multiple F words ha ha !! All the best mate :)
Thanks, what I especially like about Rendlesham is that it's never busy, which makes it much easier to concentrate on photography and make a RUclips video!
It's always a pleasure to sit down and watch one of your relaxing videos and beautiful woodland images. I'd have been sorely tempted to change lenses and hunt down that owl that started hooting around the 4:05 mark! 🦉😄
I didn't hear the owl, I must have been so focused (excuse the pun) on the photography. I really should make use of the 100-500mm lens for some bird photography - there are several RSPB nature reserves in Essex and Suffolk.
Russ, lovely quality of light in the photographs. It is great to see that you are out and exploring again. Thank you for sharing. Peace and Safe Travels.
As always Russ, a very enjoyable watch and a lovely woodland area. It seemed so peaceful with the birds singing and no people around. I think you are right, the shot at 5:48 really has potential on a day with beautiful light or even some mist. I also really like the vertical shot at 7:22. Maybe I missed it but I didn't see the shot of the blossoms you were saying you only had a two week window to capture? But really enjoyed the video, hope you are doing well, have a great week!
@@RussWeymouthPhotography oh ok, then that's the one I was talking about. Sorry, I thought you had moved into another scene. That's what happens when I watch videos at 3 a.m. 😂

The blossom was the shot at 7:22, just less blossom this year in those trees than previous years.
