Nearly 150 suffering dogs were pulled from an alleged large-scale neglect case in Dixie County, Fla. Scattered across a five-acre property, dogs were found in appalling conditions: Cramped in filthy hutches and campers. Some had no apparent access to food or water. Many appear to be suffering from severe hair loss and painful skin conditions. The dogs are now at a temporary shelter receiving emergency veterinary care. hsus.link/FL2020

Yes, I'm thinking this raid is just the tip of the iceberg, many more neglected/ abused out there. Let's all keep an eye open and if we think we see this type of crime, REPORT it, maybe rescue will happen.
Actually animal abuse, cruelty and neglect HAS become a Federal Felony --- with jail time and large fines! President Trump put this into law several months ago in fact! The problem is within each state and county! The $$$ isn't being put towards the fight against puppy mills or animal cruelty.... A lot of the time it's the area where it's happening or it's because people "don't want to get involved" or they fear retaliation if word gets out who called against these abusers....

One good thing- President Trump signed a law into effect last year making animal abuse a federal crime.
I used to believe that inside each person was a moral compass that overrode the primitive instincts to be cruel to people and other living things. I believe most often that compass exists but when something as off the wall cruel like this happens a message must be sent to the evil doers that if they engage in something as heinous as this severe punishment will be swift and assured.

In Greece the law has changed, thank god. Whoever abuses a dog or cat they go to jail and pay fines. Last year a nan hit a stray and he got 3 years jail and payed the fine of 5.000 euro.

This is a filthy puppy mill. The overcrowding is typical. Animal hoarders collect dogs, under the misguided belief that they are "helping" them. Breeders are doing this for money$$$. The thing they have in coomon

Hey guys, let’s really start focusing on treating each other humans, no matter what the age, but especially our young, with respect, kindness, love and compassion. As they grow, they wouldn’t be able to treat dogs (or other animals) this way. The worst of us, need more love, less hate.
