@Alpha Elite not drinking isnt equal to being square and boring tho, im quite fun and open, i just really dont like alcohol, its like 🤔 how some people just dont like spam, i can drink, i find it ok to drink, i just dont want it
Mate, I'm right back at you. Ten years ago I came across one of your videos. You inspired the shit out of me. Now, ten years later, I experienced everything: working tipsy in a bar, creating content for a nightplace and even managing a club. This all during my student life, and just wanna say: thanks for the inspirational ride !
For shots, in weddings in Ireland, people love baby guinness. Use the spout block the air and slowly release and your alcohol will normally layer with no spoon.
Was wondering where I could get those glass bottles that you have the juice in? I have been bartending for almost 20 years and just built a bar in my home. Would love those for the house! Great videos by the way! Thanks for your help!
I'm bartender ,I love it but I appreciate you,I learned alot from you. I would like to ask if is possible to get your training online platform and get certificate?
honest question, as texture/weight of the liquid is also important, what kind of pineapple juice is that? Natural one or just regular store bought one? I have pineapple juice but i feel mine its just too liquid? Help
I swear the comment section of these videos are at least 20% people who don't drink but just like this guy's energy, vibes and ability to teach. Myself included of course
i m watching from japan. your lecture is so kind and interesting. my english skill is very low because i understand your english 10-20%. i representing subscribe.
Best layering tech video I've seen by far, love the extra options/flair with the spiral and the cherry. Also it just seems like common sense now that you've said it, but I never would've thought toadd vodka to a liqueur to change density, bloody awesome!
Man, I’ve been following this channel for YEARS. I just got a job as a bartender without any experience and I watched this whole series after struggling for a couple of days and it really pushed me up to the next level. Thanks for the videos man
Mai Tai will never have a float. If it does it’s not a Mai tai. It’s rum, orgeat, dry curaçao, Demerara syrup, and lime juice. I’ve never seen anyone use the spoon spiral. I’ve always used the back of a spoon. The cherry method is pretty cool too.
Honestly this ability for mixing and stacking densities is pretty amazing for chemistry as well as practical use for bio research when dealing with organic fluids and integrations. TIPSY I LOVE YOU KEEP STACKING AND BRINGING THE HOME BOYS AND HOME GIRLS CLAPPING!
@@hdhil3137It's both. Chemistry involves a lot of understanding the differences in densities between various fluids to know how they'll react with one another here. But all of chemistry still relies on physics to make sense of everything that's happening as part of it.
I think this skill is difficult. If the restaurant not busy we could easy doing the layering. But if busy, we need to do some fast work... And thats the pressure working as Bartender
The shots you usually just down the whole thing. I like to mix my layered drinks, but I think it's preference. With the tropical sunrise for instance, I would mix it because otherwise you just get a huge section of vodka/midori after drinking straight oj/grenadine.
I’m a very new bartender and your course is just so helpful and informative. The way you explain the ingredients and the steps just makes it easy to understand. I literally walked into the bar with confidence after watching you and acted like I knew what I was doing lol
"fear not my son...or my daughter...or my friend...whatever you are." :D Haha that killed me. That's so 21st century. :D Dunno what i love more. Whatching this guy explaining stuff, or the stuff itself he explains.
I definitely wanna show off using these techniques. Im not a bartender. But i will for sure be acting like one❣️thanks for the tips! Im off to the liquor store!
In Czechia there is a popular mixed shot, called Semafor (traffic light) you mix griotte in the bottom, cream liquere in the middle and peppermint Liqueur on the top
I really love how you evolved from the "idiot loud with random low budget bitches" to the guy who actually suitable to make a funny bar show with lots of infos and fun ❤
I absolutely LOVE Midori and have been sorta winging recipes on my own, but I always wanted to try my hand at layering and this is the perfect recipe to try it with
hey my friend just wanted to say i have made so many cocktails and learnt so much from u this year thank u so much for bringing me such joy to bartending 🥃💨
Amazing!!! More alcohol helps liquid float, more sugar makes it sink. Drizzle over barspoon/cherry/side of glass to control the mix/layering. Attempting to bone up for a potential gig and who better to learn with than the man himself, Skye!!!! :D
I work in a 5 star hotel as a fitness coach and I get all the drinks I want from the barmen secretly. 😂 I just love watching them mixing drinks it's so satisfying.
I don't drink alcohol but, the man is such an amazing educator that it's really interesting to watch.
I dont drink either but those layered drinks look so cool and tasty, tho i probably wont like it 😂
@@mike7546 won't like it why?
@@sowhat... because alcohol is toxic

Alcohol tastes like shit. Like some tasteless and rotten shit
This guy should become a chemistry teacher, more students would lean towards science 😂
Yeah but they would also become lifelong alcoholics

Pouring a drink on the spiral of a bar spoon. Mind blown. So awesome.
Kudos to the mixing my man. You’d make a great surgeon with those stable hands
If you were my bartender...wow....id bring everyone i know. You have great energy.
I remember the old ask the John videos, happy to see you at where you are now
The amount of energy. To the presentation. Beautiful. Amazing video man :)

These are small soda bottles. Usually we get tonic water or club soda in them.its pain to take off the label...
I cant even figure out what to type to find these, but they are so damn awesome!
@@haelsb3951 I’ve been looking for days. Even have requests out to my liquor and beer vendors to see if they can find them.

Using the spirals on the spoon is very impressive.
Aight, this is the subject I have been waiting for. You really are an expert on this imo
I followed this exactly, step by step with precise execution. I ended up with the most delicious brown and grey drinks I've ever had.

Not a bartender or a mixed drink person, but these videos are making me want to try it out lol
me too, i like how he tought us the voice is loud and clear and it's easy to do, but the problem is where i could get those drinks that he used?

I agree, but tea-spoons also work as a spoon... 😂😂
Love that you show all the different techniques, and love the humour. Absolutely stellar.

Ill likely never use this knowledge but his enthusiasm made this really fun to watch :D
👏I learned something today for sure. Pretty pumped to try switching up some density
Use vodka, good vodka is pure alcohol+water, its tasteless, so you do not change the taste of your drink, while adding it to the mix.
