Space Invaders Paintings: the making of

Space Invaders is the new series of paintings from Margaret Ellen Turner. In the pause after a major exhibition I have time to reflect on the work that went on in the studio for all those months -- 3 years in fact. Thinking about thinking, about the process of handling tools and materials of production and my dealing with ideas - this is what artist researcher Barb Bolt calls the"magic in the handling". margaret-turner.... A few years back I belonged to a Sisterhood, our beloved creator passed away. I did a painting similar to this , purples and white some tan and brown. We were an anonymous group, so no faces just heads, thank you for bringing me back to that feeling of Sisterhood
