I made this recipe for my friends 😏 ill be honest, i dont like macaroni salad. I gave this a try, and i ate a lot of it lol was super good with creamy texture and really good flavor.
I use the same ingredients but also add Old Bay Seasoning, Thousand Island Dressing, Lowery's Seasoning and Kraft Sandwich Spread that has chopped pickles already mixed in and has a slightly sweet taste. I also use very large cooked shrimp and cut each one into 4 or 5 pieces. No celery just because I don't like the taste of celery. I also mash up my eggs same as egg salad consistency. Small squirt of fresh squeezed lemon juice can be used instead of salt or along with salt. Be careful though because Old Bay and Lowery's are salt flavors so you can leave regular salt out if you use the spices I use. Be encouraged and blessed.

We got bought two containers of it 4 our BBQ Memorial day cook out at my mother n laws last weekend and it was so delicious! It was gone! Both containers and I was thinking to myself I gotta know this recipe so I can start making it homemade and adding my own twist to it. I don't care for onions or bell peppers but I do like sweet peppers and dill pickles. The creamy mayo sauce is so delicious and just covers every single noodle. Yummy 😋!! And its so chilled which brings the whole pasta together. Im definitely going to subscribe to your channel and watch a few of ur video's while I'm here visiting. I found you by searching on Google Macaroni pasta salad & you popped up! Nice to be here! I 💙 eggs in my salad too! Gotta have dukes mayo! Dill pickles, eggs, little onions and sweet peppers, salt and pepper a dash of paprika for color! My hubby likes to argue with me about Paprika not having a taste but I disagree with him 😆! I like to boil my water then add my eggs slowly into the water. No salt, a cap full of Vinegar and boil for 13-14 mins depending on the size of the eggs. I usually buy LG but if they are not available I get whatever they have. Peeling works great for me every single time and once the eggs are done, I take them off the heat add them to a ice 🧊 cold bath with water in a bowl sitting in the sink for 10 mins and then I peel off the shells and save them for our garden and flower beds in a ziploc after they get set out to dry of course. Crush them up in the ziploc bag and they are ready to go! Hope everyone knows they can save their egg shells and add them to their flower beds, potted plants and vegetable gardens! They will love you 4 it! My grandparents did this for years!

So many viewers LIKE how something looks but they DONT try it. So sad. I made the salad tonight and it tasted fabulous! the only issue was dryness, which I deal with in my chicken pasta salad recipe. Pasta just sucks up mayo. Next time I may use 1 1/2 cups of elbows.
My Grandmother always did that but if it lasts thru the meal it gets watery. IMO, maybe I’m doing something wrong too much of tomato’s or cucumbers, or am I supposed to drain them for a bit?

It will make about 6 cups of macaroni salad and will be good for 5 days in the refrigerator in an air tight container.
