- Southern Style Macaroni Salad - This Southern Style Macaroni Salad is a refreshing side for any spring or summer lunch or dinner option. It's so creamy but yet it has the perfect lightness and flavor that will absolutely amaze you!
Macaroni Salad Ingredients
2 lbs.Elbow Macaroni (pasta shells of your choice will work)
1.5 - 2 cups Mayonnaise
1.5 - 2 cups Miracle Whip
Paprika for garnish (optional)
Green Onion Tops, Chives, Parsley, or Cilantro for garnish (optional)
2 tsp each Kosher Salt and Fresh ground Pepper
1 (10 oz.) can Light Tuna in water, drained
3 large Eggs, Hard-Boiled
3 Celery Stalks, chopped small
1 large Red or Yellow Onion, diced
/ kolorfulkalmele
Pasta - Boil your pasta in a large pot of salted water. to a boil. Cook pasta (al dente) according to directions on the package. Pour the pasta into strainer to drain water and set aside to cool until ready for use.

Am here to say thank you to you. I made this dish on thanksgiving and it was my favorite. The tuna brings all the rest of the ingredients together. I didn’t add the celery and it was delicious.

That's my recipe . I'm the only person I know who does half Whip / Mayo . And the ingredients are right on except .....leave out the tuna and add a pinch of red pepper flake love . Your videos are doin the world good .

This is one of my favorite dishes AB ...1 instead of just macaroni salad ......I like “macaroni and tuna” salad. .....I would add Tablespoon of Mustard, 3 more eggs , 5 more cans of tuna , and 2 ( tablespoons of sweet cubes it’s like relish mt.olive ). to add what you have ....is what I know ....👍🏾🙏🏾

This is how my mother made it and how I've made it throughout my life in my own kitchen.....I am now about to turn 65 yrs old in May....all but a few extras.....I also add diced peppers to add colour and flavour....red....yellow....orange and green....and I boil extra eggs to slice and place over the top for flavour and for a nicer presentation before the paprika goes on...My husband and I always have a small bowl once the salad is complete but the real flavour comes when it sits in the fridge over nite with the flavours marrying each other.....oh yum yummy....only thing is that I don't know about that one Kraft mayo.....i just have Miracle Whip and sometimes I use a mixture of salad seasonings.....i also use a second can of tuna as I do double what you made.....There are always others that I like to feed.....and you know !!!!! we have been wondering if there is a lady in AB' s life and now we know....how lovely you are Cammile....hope that's spelled right.....We love this channel.....thank- you From JD and Ashley from South Western Ontario Canada
