  • The Pekiti Tirsia Kali Pasada is according to GrandTuhon, the safest and most efficient entries in the Filipino Martial Arts.
    The Pasada is a set of movements and principles most commonly utilised with a Single Sword/ Stick or a Sword/Stick and Knife combination.
    Here we are showing you the slashing section of the Pasada as well as a few applications as it was taught to Tuhon Aditya by GrandTuhon Leo T Gaje.

    Thanks for posting this!
    I have a question: What's the application of the Reverse-45 step with the #1 slash during the form? The drills you show here demonstrate how the first part of the form can be used, but not the second half.
    Thanks again!

    • @lighthavenindia
      @lighthavenindia  2 года назад +1

      Thank you for the question.
      The second part application starts with your opponent using an angle 1 slash. You use the reverse 45 to retreat a bit while making a better angle to cut their hand.
      The first part is a high percentage entry, the second is incase for some reason you can't use the first. It's also not as ideal positionally and tactically

    Hi Tuhon. Great video. Wondering if this drill, and other PTK drills in general can work for a left hander?

    • @lighthavenindia
      @lighthavenindia  2 года назад

      The principles can work but the moves will need to be adapted.
      The principles of defanging the snake and triangular footwork will work.

      @lighthavenindia  11 месяцев назад +1

      That's a great question. And yes you can. When they are giving you the angle 1 you can make distance and cut the hand with your angle 3.
