  • Learn how to properly insert an IV Cassette into the Alaris 7230 SE Pump. Although an old model the AlarisSE 7230 pump is still used in hospitals, healthcare facilities and in educational settings across the country.
The AlarisSE 7230 allows for either continuous or intermittent infusion and can be used intravenously, intra-arterially, subcutaneously, with an epidural, or enterally for the patient.
One of the reasons that this infusion pump is still in use is its unique flow regulator which minimizes accidental free-flow anytime a set is removed from the infusion instrument. This pump is also equipped with administration sets that are designed for use with the instruments as well as for gravity-flow and stand-alone use.
