We just purchased a 2019 Rockwood 2608BS in January. Absolutely love the floor plan! We have the tan exterior and pebble interior. Wish we had that rear hitch and TPMS though. You had the grill hanging on the wrong bracket. The bracket on the tongue side has the gas quick connect underneath it. Note that you will need a "Y" connector for your sewer hoses due to two grey tanks. The TV is a 39" Insignia. The quality of the Rockwood is a lot better than most brands, especially my old 2018 Keystone Cougar 26RBI. One issue is that Rockwood installs a TV bracket outside, however, does not install a TV bracket in the bedroom (optional). In order to use the outside TV bracket, you need to install a TV bracket in the bedroom. Good luck trying to find where to drill the holes. That TV wall sticker is not accurate. You will need to get a TV bracket from Rockwood. The main TV can not be removed and used outside. The view through the windshield is awesome! Tows great with my F250! I have added two sewer hose carriers in the rear and one in the front below the diamond plate for fishing poles. Great job Aaron! Josh who? LOL.
We love our new 2608bs too! FYI it's a big steel plate in the bedroom that you are screwing your tv bracket to. Just make sure you use a metal screw instead of a wood screw and you can put the holes pretty much anywhere around the sticker on the wall. A good tip is to use a (rather strong) magnet on the wall and you can easily tell where the steel plate is.
We're looking for our 1st camper right now! In our 50's, empty nester's, FINALLY! This looks like a perfecrt 1st couple's camper and just the right weight for our 2019' Chevy Silverado Z71 Trail Boss's Towing Package!!!?? Yippee!!!!!!
@@audnbob1 Not sure why that's an issue. We had folks in from North Carolina, California, and Pennsylvania saturday alone. This is our every day order of business around here! :)
Oh, boy! I've been waiting to see the Haylett's take on this one. If I were in the market for a couple's camper, this would be a, "Shut up and take my money!" situation in a heartbeat.
It's *really* well executed. Suddenly EVERYBODY and their brother is attacking the layout. This fall alone you'll see copies of it in Cougar, Freedom Express, and even Jayco making a stab at it among others.
*WOW* !!! *VERY happy* to see both of these *trailers* from *Rockwood* in the *SAME video* !! I *prefer* the *Premium package* !!! This rear *kitchen* and the *LARGE pantry* are such a *luxury* !! *GREAT job Aaron* !!! #Rockwood #HaylettRV

It's a fair question -- and frankly I agree. But oddly for everyone who says "give me lighter cabinets" i still get people saying "ugh -- where are my rich dark browns?" That's why we carry so many RVs. Perhaps a white hawk with their farmhouse decor or a freedom express would better fit your preferences. You can see a few here: bit.ly/2Sr2wlt
@@aspenessis Most do not. They're not typically custom-capable like a house where you can really choose just about anything. Rockwood is uncommon in that they offer 2 exterior skins, 2 floor patterns, 2 cabinet choices, and 2 decors.
Great job Aaron! Love the layout. Also love the large holding tanks. Is the gray tank a split holding tank? Like say 45/45? Only issue I really have with this trailer is the odd placement of the water connections.
Two 45gal tanks. One dedicated to the front kitchen sink & a 2nd to the bathroom sink/shower. They do not cross-flow. The kitchen/bathroom being so far apart is why there are two tanks and also why there's a single outlet. There's simply not enough vertical space available to make a single valve work properly.
Hi, is the bed a full-queen (60 x 80) or a camp-queen? How large is the storage area on the front door-side (I don't think you opened it; would have been nice.)?
True Queen in the bed slide. There is no resource that provides compartment-by-compartment measurements. But we're happy to get those for you. Simply contact our team at 800-256-5196 and our team is happy to do whatever we need to ensure you're happy with a purchase from Haylett RV.
It is not. It’s not possible to squeeze the larger bed in this slide out, but we have a similar model from freedom express that does a king standard here m.ruclips.net/video/jnMU1UJbUTA/видео.html
Really nice floor plan; however I prefer carpet-less & no floor ducting. All the dark wood decor isn’t my thing either. Is there a lighter interior package available like in the GEO-PRO’s? Duel entrances are nice as well for not being an Uber long trailer. Good-ish job Aaron (except for the long stereotypical joke about the wardrobe that wouldn’t end = twasn’t funny Dooley); however this video makes me appreciate Josh even more (come back like Palpatine in the next Star Wars movie)! *insert evil maniacal laugh here* (sorry Aaron, no hard feelings)
You've seen almost literally every available feature or option for this floorplan if you watched the whole video including ALL interior surface choices. No Geo-Interior in these currently. Aaron's awesome. Give the guy a few more rounds to find his groove and he'll be aces.
TST. I'm not personally ultra familiar with these systems. However, I know Rockwood and I know they never opt for the dollar cheapest option. If they do something, then they spend good money on it. I could be wrong, but I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt on this one.
Normally we'd get you slide-closed footage. Normal video guy was out when this was done, but thankfully another member of the team stepped up and did a pretty good job on the spot! With slides closed from the main entry door you'll access seating/fridge/dining/and enough prep space to make a quick travel bite From the rear door you'll reach the bedroom and bathroom
Aaron filled in for us on the spot. Normally that's something we'd get for you. The good news is this layout passes the turtle test pretty nicely. With slides closed you can get to the sink, cabinets, fridge, seating front door while you can access the bed and bath via the rear door.
I spent literally all my time either sleeping or at the display. I snuck in early both days and was literally asked to leave both days because they were closing up for the night. Had some serious order planning to do while there and was burning thru my camera batteries and memory card when that was done.
Varies by model and I'd be a liar if I said I knew where each model had each tank. Our team at 800-256-5196 can run the VIN thru Rockwood service for specific locations by floor plan.
Aaron's doing great. Give him a little more time to "settle in." He kinda got thrown to the wolves on this last batch. All in all... darn happy with what he accomplished!
It looks like a great floor-plan. I just wish it had all the kitchen and other exhausts on the driver side rather than the camp side. Both TVs are too high. And while that griddle may be marvelous, who thought it was a great idea to put the outside TV mount above it? Has Jensen or Furrion listed, "Serves as a great backsplash!" in their TVs' literature?
Was out of town. Aaron's really stepped up to assist me. We're likely going to start having him assist with more content. His experience as a 7-time RV owner is fantastic.
@@respectbossmon Regarding the Griddle vs. TV Location: Aaron actually had it displayed where the side utility shelf should be mounted. The griddle is intended to be used further toward the front of the RV. I have some pics set up this way on our site for the "Essentials" version of this model.
