3 years late, but better now than never: after reviewing many tutorials, yours is one of the most thorough and simple at the same time I have seen, with a zen touch to help calming down before climbing the installation cliff.
I'm an old timer gamer at 53 years old. Started gaming in the 70's with Pong hooked up to the old black & white TV, moved on to Commodore and Atari. First PC game that hooked me was in the 80's with Microsoft's 1st version of it's Flight Sim which was just green wire frame graphics. Bought my last pre-built PC in 2000, a Falcon Northwest, and started building my own after that. It's been 4 or 5 years since I built my last one so I'm watching videos to get caught up on the things I've missed since then. Decided to watch your build tutorial due to the fact that you are using some of the same components that I just purchased the other day, mainly the MSI MEG Unify X570 and the Meshify 2 case. My point in this long and drawn out comment is that this is the most thorough build guide I've ever seen. Well done man and thank you.
This video was literally a lifesaver. Last weekend, I used it nearly step by step to complete my first build in 10 years! Thank you for making this and being so thorough where other build guides were not.
@@ihuggedapandatwice Totally. I saved up for months to build my rig and spent all my downtime at work researching. Christopher is the only RUclipsr who walks you through ALL aspects of building and he does so in great detail.
Just bought this case and in the process of building a pc. This video was so helpful. It's my first build and I never had a case with a fan hub so I was confused with the wiring of it. Thank you for making this video 2 YEARS AGO. I'm sure it's going to continue to help people for years to come.
As a first time PC builder, I've seen about 4 different build videos and this is by far the best one. Very informative, well detailed, and easy to follow. Everything a first time builder needs to know.
Build guides like this are exactly what first time builders and veterans alike need. Genuinely the best and most informative build guides on RUclips. Consider me a fan 👍🏻
I know how to build a PC but I watched the entire thing because man I wish I would have seen this before my first build..I’m sure you really helped a lot of people with how in depth you went with everything..things that seem like no brainers to veteran builders can be huge problems and confusing to new builders..great job my guy!!
Been watching assembly guides all weekend to prep for my first build tomorrow and this is by far the clearest, most comprehensive guide I've seen. Thank you so much for making this dude!
Just finished my first PC build and this video was the only guide I used for it. The video was very thorough and I never once felt like I needed to google anything or check any other vids. Very clear, explained everything thoughtfully. Very pleased with my build, thanks for this video.
Of the dozens and dozens of PC-building tutorials I have seen, this is easily the best explained, most detailed and comprehensive one. Funnily enough, I am planning quite a similiar build (same MB, same Case, beQuiet Fans, although in a custom loop), so that's a bonus.
What an amazing video. You clearly thought out everything before building it. You were clear, stuck to each topic and didn't try to be funny or add memes. This is extremely helpful for my upcoming 5900x build, and I just want to thank you for taking the time to make this video. I hope your channel grows considerably - it's well deserved.
This video made building a PC easy mode. I haven't tinkered with a PC since 2007 and your in-depth explanations took away that shroud of mystery in building a PC. Found your video because I was looking for Fractal Meshify 2 setups - Thank you!
Simply the best PC building tutorials on the internet. Genuine step by step instruction, unlike other "tutorials" which leave you asking "wait, how did he get to that step?" and no commercial flash or rambling on about other subjects either. Just step by step instruction, I love the channel.
I have never built a PC before. We are talking total newb-level entry in the PC building world here. But with your video, I was able to methodically build (and trouble-shoot!) over the course of one day! Thank you so, so much for your helpful guide and advice! She is running perfectly!

Hey Chris, I noticed most of these comments are a while back - so for everybody out there: I had no clue of pc building and just finished my very first one. And I promise you, this video will be the best you find on the internet to guide you. You did not only tell me WHAT to do but also WHY it is important and what the result will be. Hey man I really wanted to thank you for making this guide. Growing up poor, I've been vicariously living thru every tech RUclipsr and their cool setups for over a decade. I thought one day when I have the money to build a custom computer, that I would know exactly what to do and every single component. 13 years later that moment comes and I totally froze. This video was an absolute lifesaver and better than anything guide or tutorial I've ever watched! The precise labeling on every cable and how you explain what it is and what it does. It might've taken me 5 hours, but I HAVE A BUILD IVE BEEN DREAMING OF FOR 13 YEARS!! I had a grin on my face every second and every mistake I made. Thank you for this amazing video!! Most in depth and really helped me out not feel like a total noob! Time to finally open a game on my computer for the first time ever :)
Well, it took me half the day but I did it and my new pc turned on with zero issues the first try! Thank you, I had the same case and used this video extensively during my build. You are a natural teacher.
Thank you Christopher! This is such a patient and thoroughly thought-through instruction video. I am very lucky to access your support. I think what really helps is that this video is calm and straight-forward. The focus is really just to help in a matter-of-fact way. It is not trying to make a show or a performance, the focus is on learning to build. Refreshing.
You're the best Christopher, love watching your videos because they're so well explained and informative. I built my last PC to one of your videos and it turned out great.
Used this video to build my first new computer in a decade. I found it by searching meshify 2 build on Google as that was my case choice. I was delighted to see I had purchased the same motherboard so it made my build so easy to follow and use. Thank you so much! My PC is up and running because of your help!
I used your video as a guide for my first ever build, which used a Fractal Meshify 2. This was a huge help to me. I now have a brand new working PC. Thanks so much.
For all the other review channels, this is the only channel I have found where you can easily visualise the scale of the cases in contrast to the other parts.
Hands down the best PC build guide available. As someone completely new to building a custom PC, this was the only video I've found which leads you by the hand every step of the way, giving you an understanding of every component. Massive thanks!
I build my own computers since 1998, and I was here just for a review of the case, which I'm planning to buy. Still I enjoyed watching your video. Very clear and informative. Good job.
i think you mean they put you to sleep because they are boring, and if he is going to read from a script at least have in printed out in front of himself, it's creates a personal attachment to your viewers
I wanted to thank you SO MUCH for this guide. I built my last rig 12 years ago, and the mobo died -- so it came time to build a new setup. Along with a little research on the side, I followed this guide pretty much to the T, and you got me through it... getting everything right the first time 👍👍 I happened to find your guide because I had bought the same case, and whoa, what a beauty. Thanks again!
Even though I've built several PCs over the last 20 years so I have plenty experience, I played this video today as I built my new PC in a Meshify 2 and it helped me to do everything carefully and quickly and not forget any important step. Great video!
Found your video when searching for "Meshify 2 Fan Setup", picked the vid since I was building with the same chassis but Asus MOBO/RTX 3070TI (different cooler etc). It made my build alot easier, very much appreciated!
Just wanted to say that this video was a MASSIVE help for a first time builder like me. Built my first pc in this case 2 days ago. Took me quite a bit longer since I didn't have the same mobo / cpu cooler etc so had to look up where to connect things in the manuals. But this gave me a lot of confidence with how to handle the case and plug stuff in especially. Thank you very much for this exceptional video.
I was buying computer parts the end of last year 2021 having never built a computer before and in the midst of that I stumbled upon your page and guide after looking for videos on the case I was interested in (Fractal Meshify 2). Lo and behold I have just finished my first computer build early 2022 from following your guide! Thank you so much for this, it's been a great help to me and I have for sure hit the like and follow buttons, keep it up. ;)
I found this video when I was researching cases. It helped me pick my case for my build and plan my build, and when I build next week, I'm sure I'll refer back to it throughout the process. I haven't built my own PC since the mid 2000s, but now I'm looking forward to it. Excellent video, the best build video I've seen.
Yea.... this is the best build video I have found hands down. If you are reading this to understand the Fractal meshify 2 case or something and thats it like I was - stick around he goes through everything and the video covers it all. Its amazing.
This is the most In depth PC build guide video i have ever watched on RUclips. If before this i have some knowledge but 0% confidence to assemble my own PC, now after watching this, i would atleast have 80% confidence to build it myself because i have more knowledge now. Thank you! This video for sure is what everyone needs to build their first PC! 😊👍🖥️ You are awesome man.
Ok, so just turned 40, n am getting off console ive been gaming on since the first nintendo! My parts are all almost here n im ready to build. After watching this, im very confident, with my computer knowledge, which is zero, i can do this! Thank you, absolutely fantastic for someone like me, ive never even had a job in front of a computer! Ill be following the steps as i build troubleshoot as needed most of the stuff he has is similar to mine! Thanks a bunch! Never too old to game, ill be playin video games till i die!!! I love em n am super stokked to be movin to pc!!!
Just built my first PC without much prior knowledge at all. I had a similar build, and this guide made the process very comfortable. Just wanted to say thank you and keep making content to help other new builders. You are a legend!
Duuuuuude you just saved me a ton of stress. I just bought this case to transplant my build into. After completing the order I downloaded the manual to get familiar so I could jump right in when it arrives. The manual says 36mm is the max height for ram to clear a top mounted AIO and that was a spec I had not thought to check for fitment. However, it just happens that your ram is the exact same height as mine, and your Radiator and fans are the exact dimensions as well, your motherboard being just a little larger. Thank you so much for sharing this my guy. I'll sleep easy now.
A fantastic guide! You have my most sincere thanks, I was able to setup my new PC in less than 3 hours (as a first-timer), all thanks to your clear, calm instructions.
I just built my first PC last weekend; I followed this video step by step during the entire process more or less and it was tremendously helpful. I highly suggest this to anyone looking for an in depth guide.
I've never built a PC before...until now. Thank you Christopher for doing this video as it was incredibly professional and straight to the point but also really really productive. I thought building this PC would be a mess but you made my experience feel like a dream. My white meshify 2 sits next to me working perfectly thanks to you. I would say the only thing to include would be a disclaimer to any AIO buyers that if you run into any problems it's most likely because of travel that the AIO has air bubbles stuck in it and the solution is to run the system with the fan portion and cords turned upside down. Gravity causes the air bubbles to be pushed out and I finally heard some water trickling noise and my CPU temps finally came down to normal. Overall I feel like a pro because of your video and thank you for your professionalism and straight to the point Irish presentation.
Awesome guide especially for beginners. But even as an more advanced system builder it is just as awesome to have every detail presented and be prepared what's to come if someone chooses this cool case. Just love tha calm talking without a hurry or seeming like it has been sped up.
What can I say that hasn;t already been said below? Just calm, sensible, straightforward do-job instruction. This has got me out of a couple of rabbit-holes I was driven into by other excessively dynamic presenters. Thanks Chris, just subbed on the strength of this one, looking forward to more of the same.
A note of thanks for this exhaustive build guide, especially going the extra mile to show how the storage configuration would look like. This caused me to pick up the Meshify 2 which I put together yesterday, hitting pause all the way through this video. I do builds so infrequently and dealing with a new case layout is always a headache, so this was such a massive help. Thanks!
Hey Chris, I just wanted to say thank you for helping me build a PC. I built my first PC in this same case and this video is the only reason it is currently running. I hope RUclips rewards you for your amazing content
I saw various videos while building my pc and this is the one that stuck out and I actually used to the end. I think its primarily because I prefer listening to someone talk quietly without music than have my eyes blasted with effects and screaming.
Christopher - I just built my first PC, using this case, with your help. Thank you so much for the detailed explanation - it made the process so much easier. Cheers!
This is fracking amazing. I am going to get my new hardware in the next few days and it also includes the same case. Been 6 years or so since I last build together a whole system. This will help immensely. Thank you very much.
Amazingly informative video in terms of explaining the details of this case. And it's not even a review of Meshify 2. Your case walkthrough gave me more info than full on reviews from other people, great job!
Thumbs up for a very detailed look at all the case features. It's so annoying when people make a system and don't show off all the features that someone with a different system might use. This was so informative!
It's nice to see a video like this. I like 20min pc techporn builds as much as the next guy but as somebody who has never build one before this is far more usefull. Extra bonus is the fact that i'm planning to finally build one myself with this case, so perfect timing. Thanks for taking the time and doing it step by step.
Without doubt the best PC build guide on the net !! Clear , concise, clarity, and very educational and helped me enormously in building my new system. Thank you so much and keep up the fantastic work and content you provide.
Hands down, you are the best person to watch doing computer builds! I am so thankful for your guidance! You make it possible for me to do my own first build with confidence!
as someone attempting my first build , this was fantastic !! i have watched a few of these and have always had more questions than answers. Not this time, and im sold on the case as well !!! thank you , thank you , thank you
Great guide, clear, to the point, with excellent view of what each step entails. I built my first PC 25+ years ago and the last build was about 8 years ago. This brings back so many memories, time to build a new one me thinks.
Dear Christopher My brother you are the best The way you talk is so relaxing You helped me and many other like me who want learn how to build a pc. We are lucky to find your videos on youtube Thank you so much God bless you and family
Love this video, very informative. I built my pc back in September 2021 using this video, then suddenly I had some problems and watching this video again solved my problems!
With the driver install, I just bought Avast driver updater and it completely updated every driver on the system (even ones I'd never heard of) without me having to do anything. Saved me a lot of time. I can highly recommend it.
I finished my first ever build (minus GPU...) on the weekend and had chosen the Meshify 2 as my case. This video was extremely helpful, thank you so much.
Love the section markers. Super helpful! This made my first build much more approachable and it worked like a charm (when combined with my MB instruction, which had of course important notes and instructions for various SATA / M.2 SSD configurations).
Earned a sub for how highly detailed and in-depth this guide was, especially describing how to properly install the front panel connectors and putting the case into storage. Amazing work
Thank you so much for doing this video!! I bought the Meshify 2 XL and your video saved me a ton of time and unneeded headaches in building it, especially since it was my first time building a PC from start to finish. I appreciate all the hard work you put in this video and especially taking the time to explain every step. This is hands down the best step by step guide I have seen.
Thank you sir. Basically everything you need to know in one video. I will be building my first solo build. Last time I had help from a friend and parts were not researched well. I will have this video playing next to me while I build.
I want to thank you from all my heart! that was a very useful video, I've managed to build my first PC thanks to it. I would literally not know where to start without it.
Another perfect video. You have such a warm voice and you take your time to explain all the details. Looking forward to change my case. Meshify 2 is very good; I also like Phanteks P500D and LianLi Lancool 2 Mesh.
Absolutely Brilliant Chris. I brought this same case (and a Aorus Motherboard) thinking I could build this one my own. Quickly realised I was out of my depth, but your video really really helped me immensely. I owe you a pint or two, as I could not have completed this without your help. VERY MUCH appreciated.
So I commented 3 days ago and now I built it yesterday. Your video was a great tool to go along with. Only minor "issue" I had was that I had to remove the USB-C connector from the board before plugging in my gfx. The 3090 I transferred to the new system is too big to put it in with an already conntected USB-C cable in the way. Again, massive thanks.
Was looking to buy this case or the XL version as I need a bit extra headroom and your video showed me everything I needed to know about room etc. Even though I have built many systems over the years, I think your video is really great and excellent for people doing their own first up builds. Well done.
I chose the case for my build based on thermal testing you did in a previous video. Really enjoy watching your channel and love these PC builds. Keep up the awesome work.
Thank you Christopher. Had to do some adjustments, but for my gfirst ever PC build, it worked. I got it to post and the only issue was to swap the AIO pump header 4pin to a different one, but worked. Took me only about 6hours from 0 to working PC

Thanks, appreciate this
Ok, so just turned 40, n am getting off console ive been gaming on since the first nintendo!
Enjoy, you won't go back
Just built my first PC without much prior knowledge at all.
Just bought this case. It's amazing. The cooling options are endless. Keep up the great work.
Im about to build a PC for the first time solo.....This video is wonderful and I will be going step by step with it.
I started watching this build at 1:00 am , watched a few, I went to bed at 6:00am,
Best build content creator on the tube
Thanks! I just got the xl version of this case for future flexibility. But it was nice to see it’s versatility when creating a build.
Not this time, and im sold on the case as well !!! thank you , thank you , thank you
Been building for years, but loved your video on the be quiet 500dx and made my purchase easier after using a fractal define r5 for years
Great guide, clear, to the point, with excellent view of what each step entails. I built my first PC 25+ years ago and the last build was about 8 years ago. This brings back so many memories, time to build a new one me thinks.
I've watched this video a million times and successfully built my first PC. Thank you!
It took my 9 hours from start to finish and I'm exhausted, but she's up and running and there doesn't seem to be anything wrong so far.
I love everything about this guide. The case, the process, the walkthrough, your name, your accent ... everything! Great job!
Dear Christopher My brother you are the best
The way you talk is so relaxing
You helped me and many other like me who want learn how to build a pc.
We are lucky to find your videos on youtube
Thank you so much
God bless you and family
You are very welcome
Amazing work
Great work. This guide was very informative while being easy to follow at the same time. This was much better than other build guides i've seen.
Glad it helped!
I just ordered all of my computer parts last night. I'm going to use this video to build it. Thank you!
Does it matter which usb port I use to plug my bootable windows usb drive into the back?
Thumbs up for this video. Will try to build my first pc in the near future, will definitely watch this video again!

4:40 BEST. It's the only video I've ever seen that showed me how to remove the front filter.
I have been meaning to come back to this video to say THANK YOU!!! No way I would have build my PC with the details of this video.. YOu are aweseom!

Chris this is an incredible guide. I just finished my new build in the Meshify 2 and you helped me the entire way. Great work and thank you.
Greetings from Ukraine, man. Awesome tutorial ! Thanks a lot 3080 (3080 ti) and 3900X > 5900X and we have a top-end system for 4K gaming ;)
Well done.
Great to hear!
Definitely the best PC build guide on RUclips! I'm going to do my build during next weekend with i9 10850k and RTX 3070 in Meshify 2 :). I don't think it will be difficult with such a big help of this great video :D.
Good luck!
Thank ya sir doing a 5950x and 3080 build with the meshify 2 this month so I'm glad to have this guide to follow religiously ha
