For those who dont know the history, Afganistan is not the same after the 80s-90s - for people who dont know Afghanistan was considered a more "liberal" country in the middle east. Woman had more rights, could get an education and wore "Western" style clothes like shorts, skirts and tank tops. It wasnt until the 80s when the U.S.A under Reagan armed an afghani milita group called the "mujahideen" in order to fight another Afghani group that was being funded by the soviets (russia). It was essentially a proxy war, and when that ended we just left all those weapons, military vehicles, etc and left it a war torn nation. With the war over, the mujahideen would fragment into splinter groups, one of these groups would be known as the taliban. They would go on to use violence, propoganda and empty promises of a better tomorrow to spread sharia law through Afghanistan which continues on through this very day. Woman could no longer leave the house without a man by her side, she has no rights and must wear a burka at all times. Many instances where men and women are executed for petty crimes, or even no crime at all, like blasphemy, apostasy and homosexuality. In other words, not only is the U.S. indirectly responsible for the creation of the Taliban, and their rise to power, but we are DIRECTLY responsible for arming and supplying them. The more you know 🌠

The more you know 🌠
I haven't verified the truth to this but seeing how syria and Ukraine is turning out I do not doubt the truth in all this.
