It's funny how easy this is to do. Other videos want you to be a computer programmer but your way is so much easier. My pc automatically locks the switch so it keeps the file protected so I had to use my Chromebook to reverse it. It works!

my sd cards are not in the write protected spot, but it keeps coming up that it is write protected. I have to keep ejecting it and eventually it will let me delete. But I have to keep going to properties and unclicking write protected. Many times this doesn't work either. Like I said, I have to restart my computer , then after doing this I can fix the write protection. This is frustrating, it does this with other cards as well . Any suggestions?

If it's Micro SD thencuse different adapter. If it's SD card then it may be possible that lock is broken.
On 3 of my SD disks? I'm clearly doing something wrong.

Try to format in someone else computer or laptop.
Also go for the fat32 on quick format.
