I'd love more alternate leaders for existing civs. But, yeah, I'm not holding my breath.
I mean, if I am allowed to dream, I’d love to have Catherine the great for Russia or Frederick the Great for Germany…

Well, good start....
The most exciting and least likely thing it could be is opening the entire game up to modders. It's clear the devs want to move on, but the mod community is buzzing with great ideas. That is certainly one way to keep the game alive without sinking a ton of time and money into it. The game could use a major patch too. The world builder advanced tools were never fixed. These are things I would like more than dlc, but if it is dlc my money is on it being a new multi-player game mode.
My hope would be for a leader pack; the ability to have multiple leader options for the same civ is criminally underused at the moment, and it would be great if this were the first two new alternative leaders being rolled out for existing civs; maybe "LPJ" for "Leader Pack: James [of Scotland or England]" and "LPGN" for . . . okay, I have no idea. It's almost certainly not that anyway, and this isn't really enough information to even speculate about. We'll see, I guess.
.gn is the domain for guinea, so maybe a guinea region leader? it's mostly baseless speculation
I wonder if onè of these will include an Era Lock feature? That'd definitely be interesting.
this might be a bad sign for civ 7 if true. would most likely mean there's some unforeseen giant delay.
it's not unusual to train new game designers on dlc for a previous game before moving them to the main game. this could be that
It might be a small DLC or patch and the trailer of CIV 7 in it ;)So they can get some hype for CIV 7 (just try to turn it in something positive )

I just bought civ 6 so I’d like it to have a little bit of a longer lifespan so this would be cool. Maybe we could get some alternate leaders or some additional leaders for existing civs. Maybe like George Washington or Winston Churchill or something along those lines would be cool
If you’ve just got civ6, you’re in for a treat my friend. Saxy’s Leader Spotlight vids will help you more than anything when starting a new game with said leader …. Van Bradley & Potato McWhiskey are legends too
I got the game recently too so I can agree with you. I really hope there is some content coming to the game, even if it’s very small

It makes no sense to update the launcher / game in the form of DLC. This will obviously be some kind of expansion of the game, probably a small one, and it’s not a fact that it will be paid
I've looked at the latest Firaxis games, they don't have free DLC or promo DLC for new games. So it will probably be paid
If they returned to the leaders - Civilization 7 will not be released in the nearest future :(

What if they're testing a DLC to give us a preview or demo of Civ 7 within the Civ 6 launcher? Something similar to how when a new Hitman game came out they integrated everything within the same launcher.

This game had too much DLC to begin with
Not only that, but too reliant on new DLC content… many may disagree but I am convinced this Civ is inferior to Civ 5 in many ways
@@dantrianon4248 it's been 1000 hours since I played civ5... haha I cant honestly remember!! But I think your opinion makes sense. I love civ6 but it is in spite of all its design flaws, that can be partially overcome with mods.
I really hope they just design civ7 to not hide numbers and have weird GUIs like civ6
@@dantrianon4248 I think Civ5 had a better game feel to the combat mechanics. Civ6 has more combat mechanics, but the game feel makes the combat less impactful...
That said, I can't go back to Civ5. I play Sim City style, and I like planning out my empire with districts and wonders- instead of min-maxing 4-6 tall cities

I hope it is a Xbox console patch because it is so buggy the game is almost unplayable. I have to uninstall and reinstall every so often.
