I live in the UK and I use a giant Umbrella to stop the barbecue getting wet. I also have a steel Pizza Stone. They are expensive but they are indestructible !!!! I got a Stainless steel Pizza Cooker because I wanted something to cook with that does not need Electricity. Just in case of power loss, and also I make a lot of bread and pizzas which are nice cooked in a proper oven !!!
