Thanks for breaking down such a complex project into manageable steps. You make it seem so doable for someone like me who's not a pro builder.

Wish there was more detail in building with the cinder blocks, materials used, etc but turned out beautiful. I built my own solid hickory bathroom vanity using half laps and bridle joints… it’s a stunner and then I created my own white concrete vanity top with the sink cut out on the side… remember if you build a form like myself to flip your template upside down since it’s mirrored in that process (I chose to pour into a form so I could flip it over and have a perfect flat top which is much harder to get screeding a pour in place) but always do your research before playing with concrete as it’s fairly simple but missed steps and not understanding what kind of concrete you’re playing with can result easily into a disaster (mine was already mixed with cement fibers, flow control, etc. but was very expensive for just 3 bags because of shipping). You need to know what time it sets and how environmental factors affect that set time, do practice pours (actually practice it because there’s a method to it all) and have the right tools and a helper to mix while you pour or vice versa. I highly recommend if you’re a woman, buy a hand held concrete mixer! Ridgid sells an excellent one. Hand drills aren’t always the best option and it requires more strength to control the drill plus you can burn out your battery. It’s not difficult it just takes education as to what mix you bought, plan/prep and practice for a flawless finish!!!

Well that was a very informative build that I enjoyed very much….✨
    I really loved the New
Porch Roof and beams, they really showcased your kitchen build and totally redesigned the space…
The lighting, spacing and design of the entire porch was a stand alone project that truly inspired me to want to build more and be creative with my upcoming projects…. ❤

LOVE this DIY! How did you guys get the cinderblocks cut to exact shape for the appliances to be installed in? Especially the horizontal strip dividing the grill and the bottom cabinets?

We're so glad you enjoyed our video, Marco! To get the right shape for your appliances you'll want to ensure your plywood is cut to the correct shape of your countertop after you bind your cinder blocks with cement. The plywood will allow you to build a frame that fits your appliances and countertop space, see time stamp 2:18 on framing your countertop for detailed instructions. We hope this helps!

There's never going to be more detail shown because they're not the ones building it. They film them for a couple minutes acting then the crew comes in to build it.

I doubt my advice will be taken serious by Lowes but I'll give it a try anyway. The first thing that Lowes should do is simplify the webpage. When a query is entered such as 2'x4' x3/4 poplar plywood all sizes of every kind of plywood comes up making a simple search much more difficult. Then offer a 'more choices ' option. Instead the entire inventory appears that you have to scroll through. Come on man. This is a no brainer. That should be an easy fix. But I cant wait to hear the lame excuse to come from Lowes on this.
