Thanks for this showcase. Demonstrating and explaining the intrecacies of the mechanics really made me want to add this game to my 360 collection. Expecting it to arrive in a couple of days.
Really good choice! This game unfortunately does have a pretty high skill ceiling, just don't get discouraged. It's a rough learning curve. Though once it clicks, it clicks. Hard to learn, easy to master.
this was beautiful playing. i just got this game for about theee weeks. i’ve played wipeout, quantum redshift, fzero....but fatal inertia is #1 with controls physics. ducking gem. thank u for showing tips!!
Ngl I thought I was one of the only people who continued to play this game. I really wish people gave it more of a chance and such. Good job with the control.
Oh, yeah. This game is great but it's always written off as a Wipeout clone or an Fzero clone, even though the only thing is shares in common with those two games is that "the craft ain't got no wheels"
@@kanayamamoto333 It's an xbox live emulator-thing. Basically you hook your 360 up to your PC with an ethernet crossover cable and then use your PC to spoof a lan connection between yours and my consoles. The program can be found on their website. www.teamxlink.co.uk/ This is the stuff people use to keep playing Halo 2/3 on real hardware, among other games.
I didn't think it was possible to win with this vehicle, always picked the super fragile and super fast one instead. Trying to control that thing was wild, maybe it's why I had so much trouble winning. Still an absolutely fantastic game, one of the few that I got 1000G for it.
Do you now somewhere that it's possible to buy or download Fatal Inertia EX? I've had the 360 version for a long time, but really badly want EX. Can't find it anywhere, looked everywhere.
It's a PS3 exclusive. Where you could download it, I'm not sure. I'm sure someone's put an archive of it on the internet somewhere you could download and put on your console with console mods.
I failed the 3rd map so many damn times. FINALLY got perfectionist. Was so nervous on the 4th map I’d fail and have to do map 3 again lol. Thankfully I survived
I have never experienced such a terrible degree of rubberbanding that only showcases the developers' utter incompetence in coding fair and capable artificial intelligence.

Same person as before, I wanted to ask if we could race on xbox sometime if you could.
@@kanayamamoto333 It would have to be through Xlink kai or something
@@qwerty343d5 Alright. Where do I get this..?

i suddenly remember a game from my childhood and then see this.
Whenever this game becomes playable on Xenia I will be making a full playthrough showing off 100%.

I've 100%'d this game more times than I care to admit at this point.
Awesome Flying!!!

You have to buy it from PSN on a PS3

I swear i had a demo of it on my PS3
You probably did. The game released on PS3 under the name "Fatal Inertia EX"
@@qwerty343d5 ohh, true! Nice. Shame there's no continuation, ideas behind this game are awesome, would love to see how sequel would look like.
@@BluApostrophe I feel like this game or rather a successor to it could have made a really intense E-sport.
@@qwerty343d5 I agree
This game did not fuck around when it came to physics, easily most frustrating but fun game when I was a kid
Then go play the game again and kick its ass this time.
Thank you!
No problem
What is the build here?

One of the wierdest quality:popularity ratios you'll encounter for consoles games of this generation.
Indeed. Games like Phantom Dust or Mechassault to name a few are far more well known than Fatal Inertia ever was. Which really is a shame.
Nice game but I only have ti Download the Demo version
