people can say whatever the hell they want about the new Halo games. But they cant say the assassination animations suck. Those animations are pretty high end. Tbh, in all games I've played with takedowns Most of them are even below the quality of Halo Reach. (I dont count games such as AC in this list, only shooters)

There should be a melee attack where you go up behind someone with one of these thingy magigs and it deploys as your palm is flat on their back so it just goes strait through, no strength needed

This is pretty difficult to do since it is animating the actual character instead of just making a separate animation and it is slightly off since they just made it default and armors are very different
It's the engine, not the animation. When you slow down the game, it interpolates between animation keys, calculating the simplest curve between two poses, resulting in the very linear motion you see here. In other words, the animation was created to work best at 60fps. Speeding or slowing that in a game engine won't give great results 😉
I love the "Emile's Regards." its a great comeback. I think they should combine the Spinal Tap and the back breaker so that the Spartan lifts the other up by the leg in a crouch, like the Spinal Tap takeoff, but then grab the back of the enemy in air and slam him onto the leg of the Spartan. Also there could be an assassination where the Spartan places one foot in front of the enemy and pushes the head forward at the back, making the enemy trip and then stabbed either in air on on the ground. There also could be a reverse for this where the Spartan places his foot behind, and the hand goes to the enemy's face and he is pushed back, so then he is stabbed while in the Spartans arms, and finally dropped. These are some things I actually have thought of in real life for defence but would actually look cool with a Spartan. Please reply and tell me what you think, I'd love to hear feedback. Thanks.
battlefield 4 I think tried that, then it literally became impossible to assassinate someone which kinda sucked but at the same time in a game like that you never know what's behind you so a chance to react is a little forgiving. In Halo on the other hand the radar tracks everyone regardless of what they're doing other than crouching so any good player should know to check the radar or they enemy is just really good at crouching and sneaking up on people. Anyway you put it assassinations definitely feel way more rewarding in Halo and I'd hate for it to be shit on by a cheap quick time event to block it because that's pretty much the only way I can think of that you could implement such a feature. Just my opinion though...
