As a space nerd yes the eclipse is neat but I love at the same time Venus will be in the horizon and the Devils Comet will be shooting across too. You may not be able to see the comet during the eclipse but those that take pics may catch it streaking across. Can you imagine if that would happen way back in the day? lol talk about doomsday omens😂
I do believe that we as humans charge things with meaning, so if enough people make a big deal out of nothing, we will feel their anxieties or excitement.
Literally I am seeing people panic buy bread and milk, like WHY! What do they think is going to happen 😆

I was near Nashville in '17. It is awe inspiring even from a scientific stand point. The sun is so much larger yet at the exact distance needed that they appear the same size. If you have a chance to experience it, do so with bliss.
I drove to Ohio to see the totality of the eclipse and found the experience to be awe inspiring.

I was pretty excited by the Eclipse. I did think to myself "what would my ancestor have felt about this". :) ❤
I believe eclipses are meaningful because i believe the world is structured in a patterned way, and these patterns are not arbitrary. But it doesn't mean the world will end, since the modern people have lost a symbolic view of the world we've lost the ability to understand these phenomena on a deeper level which tends us towards catastrophizing.

Haha, i don't know if you've been paying attention to Christian youtube, but they are literally freaking out because they think that jesus is coming back. They are so scared. You would think they would be excited he was coming back lol.

I live in the south, and thats not funny. Haha, even a normal year gets a little crazy with those things. I find random exoskeletons stuck all over my house and patio furniture. Then the kids drag them inside, and those things get really loud while they're looking for the ladies. Nothing like a massive orgy of bug sex in your solarium to kick off the summer. Its just a mess lol.
There was definitely a different feel in the air leading up to the eclipse, and yesterday during the eclipse. At least, in my opinion, there was. I like the term of "reset" in this case, because the new moon was in Aries this time around. It feels like the beginning of something. I took my Witchling out of school for it and hung out with her at the park to watch it, and she was so fascinated, and had such a blast.
Definitely not a doomsayer or anything, but I thought it was pretty cool, myself. Lots of big things on the horizon, I think, and I can't wait to see what those things are.

Exactly 2 hours until I will see it in Olean, Ny..right in the path of total. For me, being Pagan, I am looking forward to seeing if I can feel any different energy from it. Hopefully the clouds allow me to see it..
Agreed! I'm in central Arkansas, and in about 45 minutes we will have totality. I'm anxious to see if I feel the energy change, too.
I live in GA and we only saw 80% of the moon covering the Sun, showing us a crescent sun which I think is awesome. An eclipse is a symbol and symbols only have as much power as you allow.

Ive been having some pretty life changing health issues, and I was in the path of 98.5% totality (it just ended here). I decided to invoke Woten, Freyja, Cernunnos, Hekate, The Morrigan, Nerthus, Khonsu, Bastet, Wadjet, Nefertum, Shed, Thor, and Deus (yes, Im covering all my god/goddess bases! 😂) to ask for protection and healing for myself and my family. It was weird - you know how sometimes like after you run or something how your heartbeat pounds in your ears for a short time and thats all you can hear? Thats exactly what happened to me during the height of my areas totality and right at the end of my last call to the gods. I was worried for a good minute I might pass out. I admit im not a very spiritual person and have a hard time connecting to any deity - but wonder if the energy from thr eclipse combined with invoking that many ancient gods at once may have caused it. I will say its intriguing for sure.
I would recommend focusing Godly energy a bit more lol. Feeling like you might pas out isn't a good thing in spirituality. If you focus your prayers and vibrations it might produce more beneficial results 🙏

I was excited for it but I tell you what, for 3 days I got 5 hours of sleep and could not get to sleep. Wasn't anxious just couldn't sleep.
Where I am it was darker when the clouds blocked the sun than the Moon. Still went out and looked around. People were standing the the middle of the roads. I just had to laugh. It was more weird since there was an earthquake on Friday (teaching 5th graders 18th Century Surveying at the time). Saturday there was a house fire before our Drill Day, smoke and ash. Now Monday with this eclipse. It's The end of the world, lol
Apparently jesus is coming back this time around or something lol. Christian youtube is so scared and im sitting here wondering why they aren't happy about it. Its been a huge freak out and i don't get it. I mean, as a pagan im kind of hoping he does so i can ask him why a grown man got arrested in a public garden in the middle of the night with a naked boy, but i guess the Christians don't want questions answered.

Indeed. And when discovered and surprised, the young boy covered himself with jesus’s garment before running away, which means he was disrobed. Since he covered himself with jesus’s garment, that means that jesus wasn’t wearing it, meaning that jesus was also disrobed to some degree.
I think that events like this bind humans together from all over the world, spiritual or not. At least I'm super exited for any movement in the sky😂
