U get all bits and pieces better on Hness
1. Better suspension
2. Better wheel size
3. Bigger tank
4. Slip and assist clutch
5. Better ground clearance
6. Better built quality
7. Standar BT connectivity
8. Led Lights all over
9. Longer seats
10. Better torque
11. Raised handle bar
12. Better seats
13. Metal and chrome parts vs plastic
These all factors add up to that difference
Don't say that extra price is not justified
By adding that 25% extra you can buy an Apache 310rr,and after adding that 25% you can get a entry level car.😒
Milage also
@@aabe1541 Why would I buy a sports bike if I want a do-it-all cruiser? And, what's the point of comparing a bike with a car?? Which car are you even talking about???
If you buy the Highness, you're getting a lot of value for the premium price you pay. Will that car you speak of do the same? If not, was your comparison even valid?
One last thing - durability. I've seen comments on review videos where people from not just our country, but also the Americas, UK and Australia praise the CB350 bikes and some have been riding the same bike for over 15 years! Hondas are known for their engine reliability. That's why when you maintain proper gear ratios and economical speeds, you can get a mileage of 45 km/L on the H'ness even though it's a 348.7cc displacement bike! For all that, ₹2.5 lac seems... A bit high definitely, but not something to regret about.
@@Farhan_049 where you guys get so much time to write this type of eassey 😁😁😁😂
@@aabe1541 Oh, it's dinner time now. While I wait, might as well see what people feel about the bikes I want to get for myself.🤷🏻♂️

Thanks for this comparison , I ride mostly city but I will buy highness 350.
Assist and Slipper Clutch, All LED Lighting, Bigger Fuel Tank, Better Suspension and Honda Refinement(RE don't even comes near it) those are the justified reason for Premium in Honda.
Also Topline Hunter is around 1.93 lakhs.
But if still money is concerned between these two go with Hunter. (Sometime we are already stretched by 50K from 1.50 lakhs to 2.00 lakhs in that case Hunter is much better proposition)
Its true that people who are rational, logical and have no ego involved often come to same conclusion. In my swot analysis, I reached to similar conclusion. However, my age is 30, being from tier 3 city with 1 RE showrooms and 3 service centers, My first bike from my own (believe me I used to envy when despite being a topper throughout was never given or gifted anything when others who just pass used to get pulsar etc I was too proud to skip purchasing motorcycles) and soon booking my first car too, so it became inevitable. I have a cb 350 but when the front tyre bumps in a big pathhole a clincking sound comes from it. Does anybody know what it is?
RE hunter Top rebel black is 2L on road in my state
And H'ness CB350 is 2.4 lack..
Thats 40000 difference sir.
And that's why I booked RE hunter Rebel black and paying cash with my own money💯🕺
Sensible point.
There's no comparison between these bikes.
Compare CB350 with classic 350.
that's where you made the mistake while comparing the two
@@shayonchakravarty4503 bro in my point of view, Re hunter is a different segment bike and H'ness is a different segment bike. And 40000K+ extra money is big amount for me.
Well your surname suggest that you prefer paying in cash very much ;)
@@Kilop-11 bro 😂😂😂😂😀 nice observation yar🙌🙌😂
Unfair comparison to be honest considering the price range. 40-50k matters too for too many people. :-)
In our state it is around 70k more expensive than hunter better to go for scram411 capable than honda in every aspect.
@@rrsr2189 It's bad for the pillion. The people at RE themselves said so. They suggested the Meteor and Hunter to me instead. Hence, I think the point of this video is valid in terms of 'most refined Royal Enfield' vs 'most value-for-money Honda big-bike'.

Please bro do comparison between cb350rs vs hunter 350
I’ll try my best
Please do review of Ronin vs Highness also for all conditions riding .
Ronin is nothing compared to CB 350. It’s only 225 cc.
Being a Mechanical engineer and a designer in automotive field, I have following observations.
I was looking for a family bike for city rides mostly with a flat (horizontal seat), circular headlamp and retro-like + premium design (not like 100-150cc bikes).
After exploring lot of bikes, I finalized three options to compare.
1. Honda H'ness 350 CC
2. Royal Enfield Hunter Rebel 350 CC
3. TVS Ronin 225 CC
I test drove all 3 vehicles 2-3 times and following are my observations,
1. Honda H'ness 350 CC -
*Pros* - Nice retro/classic look, Low end torque is good, Seating space for pillion rider is more than other two vehicles.
*Cons* - Bulkier (Box size), Paint quality, Higher cost as compared to other two vehicles
2. Royal Enfield Hunter Rebel 350 CC -
*Pros* - Beautiful Design/Styling/Look, Great color schemes, Turning radius is smaller than Ronin (Less space to turn the vehicle), Reasonable cost.
*Cons* - The biggest issue (design flaw) is positioning of foot rest (pegs), just below the sitting position. This makes it difficult to keep your feet on ground while you are at signal or in slow moving traffic. Foot rest (pegs) keep touching your legs and is very uncomfortable.
Another point is that seat on rear end tapers downward and seating space for pillion rider being less, pillion rider tend to move back and when you accelerate, pillion may feel like toppling/falling down at back side. So this is not safe and hence, back rest is MUST.
Handle bar positioned in such a way that you need to keep your hands stretched straight all the times which is not a comfortable sitting posture.
Low end torque/performance (2 & 3 gear) is sluggish due to bigger engine. (Not as good as smaller capacity bikes)
3. TVS Ronin 225 CC -
*Pros* - Semi-retro look with circular headlamp, Driveability and Performance is superb.
Handle bar position is very good for comfortable sitting posture with hands slightly bent in elbows. Very easy to handle in traffic.
*Cons* - Very bad design/aesthetics of fuel tank (some odd shape), Color schemes are odd (not impressive), Turning radius is higher than Hunter (Needs larger space to turn the vehicle). Cost is on higher side for lower CC as compared to Hunter (mainly due to features).
Overall, none of them is meeting my requirements (as mentioned above) and hence, I decided to wait for Kawasaki W175 or Yamaha XSR or Improved version of Royal Enfield Hunter.
All the best!
Regards, Jayesh Shimpi
Exactly same here. I have FZ V2 and was Looking to upgrade 200 to 350 cc segment bike and I have took ride of Honda highness and saw the hunter but these bikes are good but doesn't fit to my need, so now waiting for Kawasaki w175 or xsr. I am waiting for xsr since last two years but Yamaha just disappointed to launch fzs and not xsr.
kawasaki W175 ?? Is there any hope for that! I doubt

Honda H'ness or CB350 is simply not an option for a lot of people because of the unavailability of the showrooms. The next best option is simply Hunter 350
I have booked a Hunter 350. I did consider Honda CB350RS. If you ask me, which is a better bike overall, I would say it's the Honda. But is it 50k rupees better? Definitely no. Hunter 350 has better gear ratios which makes it more easy to ride. I had extensively ridden the H'ness(which I rented) in Bangalore City and I was riding mostly in 1st and 2nd gear and sometimes 3rd gear. I could hardly take it to the 4th and 5th gears. It's that tall. For the price that RE has offered Hunter, it's a real deal.
The quality on the hunter is pathetic imo. Not a single wire has been placed with a thought, let alone tucked in. And how is Highness 50k costlier when the ex showroom is 30k more?🤔
@@Amory98 In my city it's Hunter is 1.99 on road and H'ness 2.42 lacs ans CB350RS is 2.5 lacs on road. Here in Kerala road tax is 12% when the ex-showroom price is less than 2 lacs and it becomes 21% when the ex-showroom is more than 2 lacs. Hence the difference in on-road price.

As you told if any questions ask me hear is my few ones plz reply.
Which one is quick and speedy?
Which one is fun to ride?
Which one feel lite?
Which one suit for trippel seating?
Which one feel stable ?
Which one stick more to road for confident ride ?
Which one feel smooth on bad road?
1. Highness is quicker and speedy.
2. Hunter is fun to ride.
3. Hunter feel lite.
4. Highness will be little comfortable for triple sitting.
5. Due to short wheelbase Hunter feels more stable in city riding, But due to long wheelbase Highness feels more stable in Highway riding.
6. you got this answer on 5 no. praise.
7. Both bikes suspension are little bit harder side. But Highness feels little comfortable in bad road.

Hunter hi sahi hai
Majburi ka naam sukriya 😂
ERRORS I SPOTTED IN THIS VIDEO & SOME GOOD SUGGESTIONS COMING FROM SOMEONE WHO DID RIDE BOTH OF THE BIKES.
CB 350 :- DRY WEIGHT 181 & HUNTER 177/179
CB 350 HAS 15.5 KW=20.78 BHP (NEARLY 21 BHP, 20.O7 BHP MEANS JUST BARELY 20, EVEN 1 BHP MAKES QUITE SOME DIFFERENCE!!!!)
THE VIBRATION IS QUITE EVIDENT & SOMETIMES EVEN A BIT IRRITABLE AND NOTICABLE IN HUNTER 350 WHEN COMPARED TO OTHER J SERIES PLATFORM AND CB 350. THE CB 350 HAS GOT LIKE A REALLY SMOOTH SLIPPER CLUTCH WHICH IS QUITE CONVENIENT TO USE WHILE HANGING UP IN A NASTY TRAFFIC WHEN COMPARED TO THE PRETTY HARD CLUTCH WHICH THE HUNTER 350 HAS TO OFFER
IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR LIKE A PRETTY BIG BIKE, I WOULDN'T MENTION HUGE, IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A PERFECT MODERN RETRO, IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A PLEASURE RIDE WITH "THE" MINIMAL VIBRATIONS YOU CAN GET IN A 350-400 CC SEGMENT OR IN A CRUISER SEGMENT & IF YOU ARE A NOT SO AGGRESSIVE RIDER WHO DOESN'T PREFER TO FILTER TRAFFIC AND FLICK YOUR BIKE MORE OFTEN, THEN CONGRATS YOUR PERFECT PICK HERE MUST BE THE CB 350
IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR SOMETHING NEW & A SCRAMBLER RESEMBLANCE BIKE( I WOULDN'T REALLY CALL HUNTER A SCRAMBLER COZ FOR STARTERS IT'S GROUND CLEARANCE IS WAY TOO LOW FOR A SCRAMBLER AND ITS A BIT TOO SMALL LIKE SOME NORMAL COMMUTER BIKES, IM NOT DISRESPECTING COMMUTER BIKES HERE COZ I HAD MY BIKING JOURNEY HAIL FROM ONE!!) IF YOU ARE SOMEONE WHO FLICKS MORE OFTEN AND SOMEONE WHO LIKES TO FILTER THROUGH TRAFFIC MORE OFTEN, THEN YOUR PICK MUST BE THE HUNTER. BUT IF YOU ARE ANYWHERE NEAR 85 & ABOVE, I WOULD SUGGEST YOU MAY CONSIDER SOMETHING ELSE OTHER THAN THE HUNTER & IT'S COZ OF THE GROUND CLEARANCE WHERE THIS BIKE IS STINGY AT. IF YOU ARE 6 FOOT TALL AND WEIGH A BIT HEAVIER, IM NOT BODY SHAMING ANYONE HERE COZ I MYSELF WEIGH NEAR 90 KG. YOU SURE HAVE A CHANCE OF YOUR BIKE GETTING SCRAPED IN ITS UNDER BELLY, SO CHECK THESE FACTS BEFORE YOU ACTUALLY TURN UP TO BUY THIS BEAUTIFUL PIECE OF MACHINE. PEOPLE WHO ARE NEAR AND ABOVE 6 FOOT TRUST ME WHEN I SAY THIS, THE BIKE LOOKS LIKE A TOY IN THE HANDS OF A GIANT TODDLER WHEN YOU GET ON IT AND IT FEELS AWKWARDLY NIMBLE & A BIT UNCOMFORTABLE COZ OF OUR HEIGHT.
I NOW HAVE A CB350 IT DOES HAVE A SMOOTH ENGINE KUST LIKE A JAPANESE ENGINE MUST BE, BUT IT'S NOT REALLY SOMETHING EASY TO FLICK AND CAN FILTER TRAFFIC EASILY, WELL IF YOU WANT A MODERN RETRO BIKE YOU REALLY CAN'T BLAME IT'S WEIGHT & ITS LACK OF DEXTERITY. BUT YEAH I HAVE SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED AROUND 275 KMS WITHOUT ANY HURDLES AND WITH ITS NO VIBRATION THINGY. I WOULDN'T SAY HUNTER IS BAD/WORSE. COMING FROM SOMEONE WHO HAD HIS EYES ON THE 650 TWINS AND HAD TO BUY CB 350 COS OF MONETARY REASONS AND LACK OF EXPERIENCE IN BIKING. BUT STILL I LOVE THAT JAPANESE MODERN RETRO CLASSIC I HAVE & I'M ALSO NOT EVEN IN THE SLIGHTEST REGRETTING MY FORCED DECISION, BUT I STILL DO HAVE FEELINGS FOT THE 650 TWINS 🤫😝😜 AND ALSO GETTING TO IMPROVE MY SKILLS DAY AFTER DAY. BUT I STRONGLY DO SAY THAT THE HUNTER 350 IS FOR SOMEONE A BIT LIGHTER THAN 85 KGS AND SOMEONE LESS THAN 5'9. I MYSELF BEING SOMEWHERE AROUND 6'0/ 6'1/6'2, ITS QUITE UNCOMFORTABLE FOR ME WHEN 8 GET ON IT AND I DO FEEL PRETTY AWKWARD COZ OF ITS TINY BODY FRAME. BUT ALL IN ALL ITS A GREAT & AFFORDABLE COMBO FOR THOSE HUNTING FOR A 350CC CRUISERS, IF YOU REALLY ARE SPELL STRUCK BUY ITS BEAUTY AND EXHAUST SOUND WELL I DON'T REALLY HAVE TOO MUCH OF A REASONING TO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BIKE TO YOU GUYS.
ANNNND YEAH, I GUESS THAT'S IT. HAPPY BIKING AND HOPE YOU DO FIND MY ESSAY USEFUL. THANK YOU ❤️❤️.
