    I test rode T scrambler and CB350.... Those having family mother or kids , mileage, reliability go for CB350/Highness you can do mild offroading as well. If you love power, bit brand showoff😊, Mild offroading, not sensitive about mileage go for Scrambler 400.
    My pick would be CB350 even though it is not a value for money bike.
    I think value for money is triumph speed 400 and scrambler 400 is a wonderful machine.

    According to my opinion the triumph speed 400 is not worth it , because the chain drive come to the right side which take very efforts to lube the chain because of the exhaust pipe , And to change the brake pads their is saree guard again one more trouble and their is very minimum space between the saree guard and disc brake , another issue is the alloys of the triumph speed 400 don't think they are made for indian roads . And the triumph has give ride by wire setup which has some amount of lag in accleraction and if some how , something happen to the sensor of ride by wire it will be expensive to change , this bike come with short stroke engine so the ktm 390 any day better than this bike according to the acceleraction, handling , one more issue is the the coollant is placed below the radiator if something hits to the engine bash plate coollant will lick for sure . Another issue is service network . Dont know who will handle the service network either it is bajaj or triump , if the bajaj takes care of the service of this bike then it is good ,otherwise it is very risky , thinking about triumph speed 400 it provides you good quility and triumph logo on tank decent power and nothing else , The price of the triumph speed 400 is marketing strategy afer the 2 or 3 month it will going to increase . no hate for triump it is just my opinion.

      I think adv 390 is better is terms of acceleration any day…but that low end knocking of the engine is something very annoying..which is absent in this bike..and yes the engine is new in the market..so it will be really early to comment about the engine long term performance as of now… good points 👍🏻

    • @pranay220
      @pranay220 Год назад

      Bajaj will take care of servicing and sales... new service centers will be opening soon... ktm 250 also has drive by wire now.. speed 400 has a bigger spread of torque, and forgiving to ride.. cb350 has much narrow torque spread.. you cannot engage 5th gear below 70... and after 90 its slow.. so very small torque band.. you cannot ride the wave of torque...

    Highness is far better than this.
    This is a fun bike but not like multitasker Highness
    The purpose is only highway for this bike
    This bike may be unreliable as high compression engines tend to be more unreliable than OHC long stroke engines

    Good video bhai, I was waiting for you to review this.
    Sitting posture is aggressive, good for those who like aggressive posture like naked sports bike. You and I ride upright posture bikes so may be that's why it would feel lil uncomfortable to us. As same I felt with RE INTERCEPTOR 650.
    Heat management : I think heat management is critical part of the design and engineering which all manufacturers couldn't do well. I agreed, CB 350 is also a bigger engine but heat management is done nicely so it's never an issue with CBs.
    I was riding and observing INTERCEPTOR 650, So I also felt so much of heat under the thighs that too not in traffic, at 70-80 KMPH on empty roads.

    • @TheRoamingDelhiite
      @TheRoamingDelhiite  Год назад +1

      I agree with you the sitting position is identical to the interceptor 650…but then the weight of 650 is too much to handle in that position…good points bro 😎 👍🏻🤙🏻

    What's the use of cooling system then?

    • @TheRoamingDelhiite
      @TheRoamingDelhiite  10 месяцев назад +1

      Cooling system is doing it's job..it is just that the throw of hot air could have been better...

  • @jatinjain1172
    @jatinjain1172 9 месяцев назад

    can you explain the heating issue. it is having liquid cooling, is it not effective? as it is just 50cc more than cb350 and cb350 is having air cooled

    • @TheRoamingDelhiite
      @TheRoamingDelhiite  9 месяцев назад +1

      It is not an issue “issue”..it is just the throw of the hot air could have been better..bike is perfectly normal..liquid cooling helps in cooling down the engine faster for better performance…

    Informative analysis.

  • @Aswin920
    @Aswin920 Год назад +2

    Most of the reviews are about how powerful machine the engine is and how much it can do.
    I think this bike is an 'in between bike". In my opinion the whole concept of "modern classic" bike or "neo retro whatever" is about long stroke engine with better low end performance. Even hero-harley engine is doing that( I'm not a fan of either of them). Speed 400 belongs to short stroke fast bike like duke 390...maybe the CB300R...Dominor etc. I found it kinda awful. And the exhaust too, the exhaust note is nothing Triumph like. Imo it's more Apache rtr like. The design also have certain flaws the front part looks like a "on diet" speed twin or Bonneville...but towards the back it really misses the retro look, and the badging on tank also looks way better on the Scrambler 400x.
    Anyway these things doesn't matter to most of the buyers. For the money you're paying the features are good. But that doesn't state that buying speed 400 is a necessity. Their new market strategies created that effect maybe most of the reviews might be paid. If we check the RUclips everyone is comparing it with Classic 350.. hunter...cb. And most of them not even try to explain the facts about things like fuel efficiency, the coolant placement issue, pillion comfort, and so. One of the RUclipsr even try to wildly compare it with a hunter 350 guy he got from road, through out the review he acts like a maniac.

    • @TheRoamingDelhiite
      @TheRoamingDelhiite  Год назад +1

      Triumph is trying to tap into the lower price range market and Bajaj can give them that platform..just like what they did with KTM...I completely agree with you that Scram 400x will be better bike, at least for a tall person like me...
      I really don't what happen in the auto journalism world..paid or unpaid..I really don't know but yes whenever see reviews from cliched channels..they cover up flaws of the bike (any brand) in a very subtle manner which does not reach their audiences...What I believe is that if you lie to the audience, they will catch you..
      Thank you for inputs!! Cheers!!

    • @anmolkale16
      @anmolkale16 Год назад +1

      Then you're getting the wrong idea my friend. Triumph is the poster boy of modern classics and all their bikes are short stroke, from Bonnevile to Speed Twin, Street Twin and so on, be it 900cc or 1200cc all are short stroke.
      The basic funda of a modern classic is retro design which hides modern tech, but gives a torquey retro feel. Look at all Modern Classic Triumphs, they all look retro, but all have modern tech like Liquid cooled engines, ride by wire, power modes and other such options.
      The way they emulate the character of older torquey bikes, is by concentrating most of the torque in their engines at lower RPM's.
      Speed 400 is very different than Duke or RTR to ride, for these bikes you need too push them past 5-6K RPM to feel the torque pull. Speed 400 has a torque pull from 2-3K RPM.
      The similarity between Duke , RTR and Speed 400 is that, like these bikes Speed 400 has Top End performance as well, you can pull it till the Redline of 8K.
      Which is not possible on long stroke torquey bikes like 440X or Hnss. Speed 400 literally sits between the character of Dukes/RTR's and 440X/Hnss

    • @Aswin920
      @Aswin920 Год назад

      @@anmolkale16 agreed dude.
      As i said it's my personal opinion only. And about the "short stroke engine thing" i was referring to Indian market where the majority of people who go for modern classics are subjected to the idea of "calm and composed" cruising.
