@@ryanfish1513 well the reality of it is it's very scary the first time. But guaranteed once you throw it you will be like "why haven't I done this my whole life it's so easy?!" Haha, so just get as big a jump as you can, and just throw it even if you have to close your eyes, and mats help even just pillows or something. The nice thing about flipping backwards is the moment you get over your head you're safe and it's not too hard to land. So what I would do, film yourself and then play back frame by frame. If it takes more frames after the first flip until you hit the ground then it does frames to do the first flip, you know you have it easy as long as you hold the tuck. You got it man! Go for it!!!🙌
I just learned my dub backflip but my second backflip is super slow with rotation even tho I have a ton of height. When you set are you supposed to throw your arms up super high then tuck or throw to your chest and then tuck?
I try to throw them super high rather then to chest, both on tramp, and onto ground. But don't stall super long with it either, and try to generate lots of momentum but still get height. Not all height and no momentum or vice versa
I would say just stretch beforehand, the important thing is that your knees are tucked to your shoulders rather than your chest, it doesn't have to be ridiculously wide, and then practice just jumping up and going into the tight tuck instead of putting it right into flips!
I’ve been looking at videos on how to tuck faster in my double backflip and this video is by far the most helpful. Thank you very much brother!
Yeah, of course man! Lemme know if you wanna see anything else!
@@TheTechWanderer How did you get over the fear of the double backflip. I’ve got the tuck nailed thanks to you, but I’m still scared.
