You are probably one of the lucky few that don't have a problem with the new carriage, I always had problems with it and the old carriage with the bar on it worked up better for me. Glad to hear that you don't have any problems.
I do not have a Knitting Machine but enjoyed watching you use yours. I am knitting a pair of short Bedsocks with thick wool as I have swollen feet & ankles. Thanks for sharing...Hugs From Australia!!
I'm sorry that machine doesn't work well but I'm a teeny bit glad because mine doesn't work well either and I get to see what is the best way to fix mistakes, dropped stitches, etc. It's been a bigger help than the actual tutorials!
cheezfri Not all machines will act as good as we want them, but if we take the time to understand how they work, we can use them as some of the more expensive machines. Now grant it, some of the plastic bed machines will have more issues than the metal bed machines, but once we know how to control them, it will be your best friend. I will even have problems with my metal bed machines, so again, it is not always the plastic bed ones.
I have this machine, however, I use the carriage for the Bond USM instead of the carriage for the Bond Classic. I find that I have less problems using this USM carriage vs the Classic. I also own the Bond Elite, so I would love to make this sock with it.
can you print a quicky pattern. when it gets near the end i don't follow shaping the toe. how many short rows did you do, and i didn't quit follow directions. something was to be on next video; where is next video?
Bond did not make any cast on combs but there is another 8mm Machine out there, think maybe 2 older machines that if you can find them, you can use those. The first being the HK100 and the SK120. Or you can make your own comb as I did with a threaded rod, nuts and washers and cut larger paper clips that works out just right for the Bond machines. ruclips.net/video/6oLMiqgmimk/видео.html Hope those help Berda
Hi Berda, I watch your video over and over, because I'm a slow learner. Sorry. I was wondering where can I get a bond ribber for the ulitmate bond machine, I looked on ebay and they only had the one for the elite. The seller said it would't work on the other models. I am considering buying a different machine with a ribber, but not too expensive. Any suggestions?
Those ribbers are hard to come by, I thought someone I knew would sell theirs but they are going to keep it. I do see them go on eBay from time to time. But you have to get the ribber for the USM, as the one you asked about is a 7mm machine, the USM is an 8mm machine. Wishing you to find the ribber that goes on your bond, but it may be easier to get a metal bed with ribber that is not so temperamental. If you do find the ribber for your bond, you have to get it lined up just right for it to work from what I heard. Berda
I have seen 2 ribbers for the Bond, one is the 7mm that is only for the Elite but there was an 8mm that will work with the other bond machines, but as someone else mentioned, you can find a unicorn before you find that ribber. Berda

Glad my videos are also viewed by non machine knitter. Maybe later you may find one and try it for yourself.
Did you get the picture of the machine knit flag . I tried to send it several times
Hello Mary, yes I did, I did email you back so maybe there is a problem with emails again. Thanks for that picture. Berda
Hi, I noticed that you're using a bond machine, where can I buy the cast on comb and weights? Do they replace the BOND KNITTING MACHINE WEIGHTED HEM?

Hello! Do you use the silicone spray for the car and the machine needles glide better?
Does it work as a lubricant?
I do use a silicone spray on the plastic bed machines, on the Bond I would also spray the Key Plate also and it did make a difference with me. Berda
