I have learned much from your videos. The sock video is my favorite.

I don't care about the music, but I would like all your commentary! It is so helpful!

I love your videos! Thanks so much! Looking at a vintage Corona machine with a ribber and a card reader that i haven't figured out yet

I love your videos! Unfortunately the audio keeps cutting out on this one. Would you be able to make an updated version one day? Thank you very much : )

Sorry, no plans to do that. I had added music, which people hated, so I stripped off the music, which made the audio less than perfect. I do have a commercial product called "Knitting Socks on the Standard Machine" that is pristine. In order to fix this, though, I'd have to refilm it.

I followed this video a few years ago. I wanted to refresh my memory the other day and found that some of the commentary had disappeared. It would be great if you could fix it somehow. I could figure it out but some newbies may not be able to. Thanks for all your videos. If it weren’t for you, I’d be lost.

The sound goes in and out about the middle of the recording. Hate to miss part of your directions. Love your videos!

Very informative, although this is cuff down, not toe up.

Have you considered recording an updated sock video using lazy ladder ribbing?

Not really - I reworked this entirely for the book and DVD set and have lots of other video plans now.

hi, is there any way to do socks on a machine without a ribber? mine doesn't have one. thanks in advance

If you want them to have ribbing you can do the drop stitch method where you knit the dropped stitched and make the ribbing yourself.
Then to make the socks you cannot have circular knitting automatically, you should knit the whole thing flat and then stitch it.

Hi Diana! I love your videos. Thank you very much! I'm addicter knitter with20+ years. I'm thinking to purchase a knitting mashine to knit mostly blankets and socks. Which one would you recommend? Can't wait to hear from you. Thank you

How many stitches did you cast on?

Hi Diana, how many stitches did you cast on? What size does the sock that you knitted fit? I'm struggling to follow your video as the audio keeps cutting out...

I have a few things - check my site, dianaknits.com. I have a new book coming out with some really cute mid-gauge patterns, including a kitty hat, baby pants and sweater.
