How did you keep the extra bolt length on the double track from impeding the slide ability on the inside. I used an1 1/2 by 3/16 plate full length on the inside of my rhino tracks and Iuse magnets with hooks butI like the double track idea a lot .
Hey Ty I was wondering how's your Yakima tracks are holding up and why didn't you go with Rhino tracks? Is either one more heavy duty than the other? I have a Snugtop too that was made to handle heavier weight up to 500lbs..not than I'm going to put that amount of weight.. but I haven't decided what to go with yet. I saw a Thule track rip right off the canopy so I won't be using those..any info would help..thanks Ty
@@TyFenwick Having trouble finding aluminium extrusions like yours and also it seems that the nuts from the top bolts would be too big to slid thing in your inside tracks.
That’s 🤬 brilliant! I’m sooooo going to copy that. This is exactly what I was looking for.
That is pretty cool. Great truck
you didn't show the internal support. is this on a separate video? I'm looking at doing similar. Thanks
Smart to do the rails on the inside.
Very interesting video. Great truck thanks.

Which brand roof rails did you get? Also, what dimension aluminum extrusions did you use for the inside roof of the canopy? Thanks!
Did you need to reinforce the canopy roof? I’m trying to decide how to mount my clamshell rooftop
I had custom brackets internally to support weight

Yeah I’ve since sold the snugtop. They guys just suggested that’s what I should fit but I’m sure you can put any sort of track you wish on
What would those tracks be called on the inside? I like to do something like that
There just a “aluminium extrusion” Kent.
