    my baby seems to always sit wayyyy lower than this when i use my easy wrap. any tips on how to fix it?

    • @ParentingCentral
      @ParentingCentral  2 года назад

      Hi Yeva, thank you for your enquiry. The first thing I'd suggest checking would be checking the waist band is high enough, and then making sure you're tightening the straps until it feels firm and supportive.
      This video I'm talking about how to adjust the Easy Wrap as baby grows, but if you skip to 1:15 into the video and I talk about how to get the waist band the right height - ruclips.net/video/SWudiX80WYs/видео.html
      Let me know if that helps. If it doesn't feel free to send through a couple of pictures of baby in the carrier showing front and back to either mail@parentingcentral.com.au or through Facebook messenger - facebook.com/ParentingCentralAustralia/ and I can let you know what specifically I'd adjust for your baby.

    How would I put baby in so his legs are still in the "newborn scrunch" position?

    • @ParentingCentral
      @ParentingCentral  2 года назад

      Hi Emily, thank for your question. The Easy Wrap only offers a legs out carry position. The fabric is very soft and easy to squish around so you can position your newborn to support their natural scrunched knee position, but with their legs out.
      Also at the time I made this video I hadn't given my doll "knees" yet so the legs don't look quite right. I've since made a video showing how to adjust the Easy Wrap as baby grows and in the more recently video I'd put elastic bands on the dolls legs to give the idea of knees. It's not perfect because the legs don't draw up and scrunch like a real newborn - but it might be helpful - ruclips.net/video/SWudiX80WYs/видео.html
      Please let me know if you have any other questions! - Rachel

    How easy is it to breastfeed while using it, oppose to a ring sling?

    • @ParentingCentral
      @ParentingCentral  Год назад

      For a new parent or someone who is new to babywearing I'd say the Easy Wrap is going to be easier to breastfeed compared to a ring sling because sometimes the simplicity of the ring sling means people underestimate the importance of making small adjustments and correctly (safely) positioning baby. Which is especially important transitioning baby back up into a high/tight/uptight/close enough to kiss position after they finish their feeding.
      Although with experience (or support from someone with experience) ring slings are very easy to use. It's just making sure they're used correctly.
      I have made a video showing how to breastfeed in an Easy Wrap.
      ruclips.net/video/MB1-53oGo1s/видео.html
      But I don't have a video with a ring sling and currently don't have one available to me right now to make a video.
      Let me know if you have any questions!

    Maybe I should watch the whole thing before I comment but how do the “tails” go in the back. I’m standing here trying to do this and I feel so stupid right now.

      Hi Jena, great question! I didn't actually show that part in the video at all - I really should have.
      Moby instructional video does show it in the beginning of the video ruclips.net/video/AyV-e3TPEgg/видео.html
      I hope this helps!

    I'd this how you wear a newborn ?

    • @ParentingCentral
      @ParentingCentral  2 года назад +1

      Hi Purr, thank you for your question! The video is showing how to put the Easy Wrap on with any age baby and the doll size I'm using is Newborn to 3 months (Approx).
      Otherwise this video here I show how to adjust the Easy Wrap as baby grows and it might be helpful fitting you newborn - ruclips.net/video/SWudiX80WYs/видео.html
      (Skip to 1:15 for the most important tip for correctly positioning the waist band)
      Otherwise was there anything specific you're having trouble with for your newborn I can maybe help you with? - Rachel

    There is instructions on the box how to position a newborn legs in…

    • @ParentingCentral
      @ParentingCentral  4 месяца назад +1

      That's interesting. I've never noticed those instructions or seen anyone use the Easy Wrap with legs in. I imagine it would only be with a very fresh, "scrunched up" newborn.
      But you'd still essentially put them in the same way and want to make sure their knees/hips are in an open position so their feet aren't curled underneath their bottom.
      And make sure you start putting their feet are on the outside of the fabric well before they reach an age/stage where they start to push off with their legs.
