Great video and badd ass 65 you built. I stumbled across your video of your 1st start up after putting back your 409 and this video helps me alot to finally install my front shocks but I have to mount them to tubular control arms which know one wants to deal unless I pay the big shops $75 a hr to do it. I cant cruise this year and worry about bouncing from bumps. Keep up the great work and videos and I love that malibu. It was my 1st car in high school that I rebuilt with some help from my dad.
Do you have more videos of the 65' Impala like interior and guages, rear end and type oftyranny? Just bought a 65' SS with factory 4 speed and AC. Thanks.
Hey bro on the bolts that hold the plate to the chassis for the stock what kind of bolts are they?? Are they self tapping bolts that went thru the chassis or did u use a nut at the other end ?? Plz reply.
Great video man! I have a 65 in air too with the same bag brackets but have to install shock after putting 800 miles on it thus summer after a frame off... too much vibration through the suspension to the steering wheel. Did you need to move your brake line tabs for the flexible line mounts going to the caliper??
Air bags hold the weight of the vehicle ( just like a coil spring or leaf spring would). It allows the vehicle to be dropped and raised as well. But it doesn’t stop the vehicle from bouncing when hitting a bump. That’s what a shock does.

Hey bro nice wheels. I have a 1966 Chevy Belair. Can you tell me the size and type of wheels. Also the backspacing. Great videos!
How did you get your grill to look so good? Original ermine whir paint color?

If I remember correctly, I welded everything to the frame for the shock mounts
@@snedenwerksok. I got a bracket online for my 66 n it came with bolts I'm stuck now. Have to find some one that knows how to weld. Darn it !!
@@Gmg8nq I think mine were meant to bolt on too in some way but I don’t remember exactly. Had to move mine bc of the big brake setup. Good luck, man!
@@snedenwerks yeah I saw that . Beautiful ride u have bro and thank you for your help much appreciated.

Thanks, man! Yeah I did relocate the brake line tabs
Looks amazing bud. Awesome video and details. You wouldn’t happen to know what the shocks are from would you. Or part number???
Thanks! Sorry I don’t remember what I used on this one
Sorry if this is a dumb question, I thought air ride elimanted the need for shocks?

@@frankburn6312if u air down a little no bounce no need for shock
U don't need them.
