    Did the shocks slow down the lowering or rising of the airbag? PS thanks for posting

    Does the shock has to be straight up? Or can it be a bit side ways?

      Mine is abit angled. But try to keep it as close to vertical as possible

    I’m about to do this install pretty soon, any issues you may have ran into years after this install ? Brackets haven’t bent/shifted ? Shock absorbers haven’t buckled?

    So you drill the hole first with a drill bit? Then you use the self taping screws right? I’m about to do this today.

      Yes, just make sure its the right size drill bit. I found using a impact to screw the self tapping bolts makes life easier.

    Hey I've been looking into something like that that looks awesome curious how much did they go for..
    I have a 59 Bel Air two door that could use them

    I’m stuck again. I can’t even compress the strut using the jack. I don’t know how you did it.

    • @bastard60belairrat81
      @bastard60belairrat81  5 лет назад

      I used my jack. Well first I inflated my bags all the way then used the jack to compress the shock and wheeled the jack to line it up for the bottom hole. The shocks are pretty hard but it can be done.

    How do you like the ride now? And do you have an issue with your tires rubbing up against it? Thanks for the vid!

    • @bastard60belairrat81
      @bastard60belairrat81  5 лет назад

      The ride is a hundred times better. No issues with tires rubbing, even after I went with a 8in tire.
