Looks amazing, would be cool to find some used valences that needed some work and cut them and weld them to make one piece for the middle of the bottom rear valance
Looks good, I like it 🙂 Not to many Kits in NYS with the Winters and Guys not having enough money for a Winter Rat or a place to store a car. The tucked in bumpers always look good. So many aftermarket parts a real junk, and don't get me going about Mr. Gasket stuff......Super Junk. With all the parts coming out of the house Mrs. Lonestar with have a room or two to redecorate......................................
Loved the color. I want to see how you are going to get the ring around the tire, that for me was the hardest when I put on my 1963 continental kit, was tough..
@@lonestarlows I had a large tire like you did and it was too wide to put the chrome ring around it , I had to purchase a smaller more narrow used tire, have it deflated . I placed the chrome ring down, inserted the backing piece, ( not sure if your style has one) then stretched the chrome ring ( was a bitch) then slid in the tire while stretching the ring to fit around the tire ( failed the firs time with the larger wider tire) . Then placed the large circular plate, once done I inflated the tire inside. If you find a better way let me know. You will need at least one other person to help
@@lonestarlows ill try to look but the tire is in my continental kit. if I can see it I will let you know. Sam from Canada who makes the continental kits told me what original size tire was in there, so I chose a modern one that was similar in size
I think if you used some button head bolts on that bracket in the center under the plate/tire, it would make that even more subtle. The threads and nut just stick out to me. Im sure it's nothing that you'd even see, and im just being picky. Car is looking more beautiful every update 👍👏👏👏
Good call on the 59 kit…very tasty.
Way better than 60 IMO
That continental kit looks good. The modifications made the fit much better

I think I'm going to see how a 59 center valance looks in there.
Such a clean build brother, can’t wait for it to be done.
Thanks

Yessir. We almost have a bedroom without car parts.....
You will have to get Ken a "Part Time Job" to pay for all the new Furniture and Accent pieces 🙂
Awesome work

I'm dreading that. How did you do it?

Ok so thr correct size is 750 14, also depending the brand you could put a 195 75r14. Make sure u air up the tire after you have it inside the ring
🔥🔥🔥
My brother , what rim and tire for a 1961 impala , been having trouble , tried 3 diffrent tires and won’t fit

Nice 👍

As a first time truck builder..what advice would you give to start a complete build?
Don't do it..
💪🏾💪🏾🔥💯

Where did you send them to get Chrome
Local
😃✌️👍
How do you put gas in it?
Filler neck extension behind license platr
Maybe the purpose of the original bumper was to protrude more than the back wings on the two sides.
Maybe
@@lonestarlows Amazing result anyway.
