Hello, I'm an IMG from India and I have a step 1 score in the 220s. Is it even possible to dream of radiology residency if I get better CK scores or is it impossible with this score? I've looked at charting outcomes and every radiologist I've looked at have a step score in the 240s, so I wanted to know if you could offer any more insight. I will do everything I can to work on a better cv but a low step score is something I can't do anything about. Thanks in advance!
Hi. I’m a U.S. DO. Had a step 1 score in 220s. Matched into radiology in this match cycle. I think score is just a part of application. Maybe try to strengthen other parts of application to increase your chances. For me, it was my interview and post interview communication that got me in. Try your best to do good enough on your step 2. Believe in yourself and don’t lose hope.
