over the past 24 odd hours i've been watching this vid over and over to get a better grasp on how to tweak one shots to my liking. the intro is hilarious and i've now found myself clapping along with you xD
Dude I really appreciate this video! I have so many different one shot samples & never knew how to correctly use them! But I'm glad I found this video!
thanks for the tutorial, helped a lot. the pitch region thingy was the most helpful, i never even knew about it. gotta train my muscle memory to be able to do that consistently now xd
thank you for the clear and dope video easy to follow and understand (got my subscribe) it's been years since i've fucked around on fruity loops and barely getting back into it, but i can't remember anything of what i was able to do and feel itimidated what other tutorials do you suggest? I know the basics, but struggling getting back to where i was. you got discord or sum so i can ask some questions that i can't find answers to?
fl studio 12 doesnt even have the stretch feature bro. every new fl studio version they add new plugins & features. the older fl version you use, the less plugins & features you get.
Hello! I am experiencing trouble with oneshots as with most of them they start popping when in stretch mode but work fine in every other mode such as resample etc. Does anyone know what the problem is? i dont think its my computers power as it manages under 30-40% cpu usage in my project with enough ram and works in every single other mode.
Yo. What i've found is that if you go Options>Audio Settings and then move around your buffer length, the sounds stop popping and scratching. Just keep adjusting your buffer length until it does.
so from my almost two years of experience of working on music, i don't know about other producers, but you don't necessarily have to set them to C, but it is recommended bc since aa lot of vst's are already set to C, it will be visually confusing and audibly more difficult bc if this is the case, you are using two different instruments set to different keys. tuning one shots to C will make finding notes and having them fit in with other sounds a whole lot easier. for example, lets say you're using a one shot for your melody set to B, and you're using another one shot set to C# for your counter melody or for your 808/bass. thats 1 whole key difference so you would be using different keys on your keyboard for both instruments. regardless if you are someone who relies on hearing notes to fit them in together, or someone who relies on visually placing down notes. it will both visually and audibly make the whole process of trying to make two different sounds integrate perfectly way easier. but again you dont necessarily have to set them to C but be aware that most vst instruments and one shots in kits are already set to C so setting all one shots or instruments to C will make things a whole lot easier. i hope this wasn't too much or confusing
sometimes it also has to do with the time knob next to the auto, sample, stretch button. try always making sure if its on or off, and if it is, make sure you are turning the time knob all the way down to prevent that issue
Tune your A to 432hz and your music will resonate with creation. The recent natzi 440hz standard tuning is an anxiety and panic attack inducing frequency. Great video and thank you for sharing...

Hey im new to this stuff and im just wondering why the one shot has to be tuned to C and not any other notes

@@chvnelalexander thank you so much for the info bro I hope you have a good day
@@e.producer2195 ofc bro thanks man
My one shots already sound better with the envelope tip alone 💯
okay but what do u do if your one shot plays the same note on every key
Haven't ran into that issue - I would just retry the steps in this video. Maybe restart FL as well.
@@DillonXO nvm I solved it, I just had to put it on stretch

i'm using this 😀🔫
where to download one shots?
Everywhere
@@DiamondX-r1j for free?
Hey sir G I can't Able to fix or save the one shot from another key to C key 😢
Tune it like you would an 808. Then convert to audio file and save.
can't do this on mobile
Good video, but why would I use this over a piano in lets say Nexus?, Is it not the same thing? so why the different name?
i dont have newtone
I’m tryna do this for my GarageBand when I download one shots but they be short for the higher notes
I didn't get the explanation on setting it to C note. Why should it be on C note ? I need some clarity 😄
If its not tuned to see then you wont be able to play it like a normal instrument on the piano roll since it would be out of tune
@@KRXTORRR ok thanks 👍
Because it's the root note.
