    What a beautiful tradition! The Azerbaijani and Japanese tea ceremonies are the best ever seen.

    The singers of the songs about tea (çay) in the background are Mirze Babayev (Mirzə Babayev) and Shovket Alekberova (Şövkət Ələkbərova).

    People, people, it is not about where it has originated. Azerbaidjani's are not saying tea has originated there. It is about HOW we drink it and with which products/sweets, which is totally different from many of other countries.

      I get your point. Tea is not the most regarded beverage in my country - after all, we gave cocoa and maize to the world so our hot beverages are heavier - but when we drink tea we do it more casually. I can see there is a whole culture behind tea in Turkey and Azerbaijan, and I hope I can partake of such beautiful tradition someday :3

    The most expensive "cup of tea" I've ever had was in Baku... I paid about 60 manats(about 50 euros) for that... to be fair I have to say that it was "tea for two" : me(Azeri from Australia) and my girlfriend(Australian)... she keeps telling everyone that it was the best tea she's ever had... I guess, overall, it was worth it ;)
    Definitely one of the first things to try in Baku...

    if iran is better than Azerbaijan, why people from Iran are moving to Azerbaijan and the rest are escaping to Canada, Australia, Middle East (mainly Dubai)??? In contrary, immigration from Azerbaijan is limited. Open your eyes - see what is being built in Azerbaijan. In Iran (if u are still there) this is hidden from Iranians to prevent them form wanting to have the same and rebelling. Azerbaijan is soon to catch up with brother Turkey, don't worry. The effect of 70 years of USSR will soon fade!

    Of course Persian lgg became strong at some points of history (many Azeri Turks contributed to that!) but gave way to original Turkic Azeri again. Iranisised locals reverted back to their original Turkic except for Azeri Talysh & Tat ppl who due to various reasons retained Iranic lgg. It's only a theory that name Azerbaijan is translated fm Perisan. Maybe word Azer Persians took from Az Eri (Men of Az) turks instead? Turkic ppl lived in Caucasus & North Iran much before Iranic ppl came here!

    @Shekimarali 12 лет назад +4

    But that was a mistake. Now things will change again. Azeris have the political will & power in Iran STILL. Persians have always been laid back & inert about things. The revolutionary (progressive) element is Azeri so it will soon again will show itself :)))) Especailly as Azerbaijan becomes a better place to live (now ranked by IMF top level middle income country). By 2020 we will be high income country, democratic & beautiful! U know it's already happening & hence so concerned. And should be!

    Caucasia is sometimes considered as part of Europe. Turkey has lands in Europe, 3 provinces + half of Istanbul. Russia's half is also European.
    but I don't know why Israel participates too. As well as Cyprus, which is full in Asia.

Useless effort :))) Don't worry about our Azerbaijanis - they are well aware of everything and cannot wait for independence from Iran :))) just type Southern Azerbaijan in RUclips and enjoy! SOme Azeris unfortunately have been brainwashed successfully but most are still identifying themselves as Azeri Turks not Iranians :))

    Also, look at Iran today & the two Turkuc counties - Azerbaijan and Turkey. See where they are, how progressive they are in all spheres and make a conclusion as to why? if Iran was so great, should it not be Iran ahead of all in the region and not our two countries? If not for Azeri Turks Iran would be even more backwards. If Azerbaijan goes away from Iran, nothing will be left of it, the remaining part will become like Afghanistan - the example of what happens to Iranic country without Turks!

    If Azeris were religious ppl, so would be the Rep. of Azerbaijan. As u can c, it's not. It's ur Persian thing, not Azeri. Turkic nations r never Islamic radicals as Iranic nations r - Iran, Afghanistan! To conclude, the oldest SAMOVAR (if u Persian "tea experts" know what it is) was found in Azerbaijan 3000 years old, older than Aryans 1st appeared in the region! even Russians admit that they didn't invent Samovar (& Samovar is purely for tea drinking Same with the rugs! Not "Persian" - Azeri!!!

  • @Shekimarali
    @Shekimarali 12 лет назад +1

    Greece & Persia maybe ancient but in deep trouble right now! BTW Persians have come to the present day Iran after Turks who dwelled here for long time before that. Parthians came fm Central Asia chased by scythians, mixed with the Caucasian-Turkic culture they found in Northern part of modern Iran (which is still 100% caucasian-turkic anyway), became what the r today - Persians. Without Azeri turks Persia would be nothing and was the strongest in Islamic era when ruled by Turkic Azeri dynasties!

  • @Shekimarali
    @Shekimarali 12 лет назад +1

    we made your culture!! Without us you would be like Afghanistan and Tajikistan! In any case, what have you got to do with us, Northern Caucasian Azerbaijan? We are heirs of Caucasian Albania. We could not use that name for naming the country as the whole region was known as Azerbaijan - not only what used to be Atropatena. And we are a SPLIT nation waiting to unite. So naturally you will hate us as u know how powerful we can be.

  • @Shekimarali
    @Shekimarali 12 лет назад +2

    No such thing as "pure" - Persians r aryanised elaimites, kushites & mannaeans! Ur aryan ancestors (15 % of your lineages) came to the region 2500 years ago & took over the local cultures, changed themselves & hence r FAR CRY from pure! In pre-islamic era Persian element was stronger but in Islamic the Turkic was stronger. if not for Shah Ismail, you would be swamped either by Ottomans or Arabs, so we saved u from that & in return gave u Shia religion, as a tool of self-identity & preservation!

      vaazma the alphabet used in armenian is the copy of the etiophian alphabet. Our alphabet is Latin and we accept it but we have our own alphabet which is quite difficult: searching for gokturk alphabet you will see it.
